Wakana Komatsu Kodo

A guesthouse packed with all the goodness of Noto.This time I stayed without meals, but the homely atmosphere allowed me to relax without unnecessary interference. The room we stayed in had access to the clothesline in the back from the verandah (!) and a view of the fields in the back, making it feel like we were visiting a relative's house.Other people's reviews said it was a Japanese-style toilet, but it had been renovated and became a Western-style toilet. Everything in the hotel was very well kept and very clean.There were a few pubs within walking distance, but it's a bit of a walk and you might not be able to get in if it's crowded, so you might want to take your time with a plan that includes a meal.

As mentioned in other reviews, although it is an old building, it is well maintained and I think the expression "cleaned up" is perfect. Every corner was spotless and clean.◾️Amenity relatedI think a lot of things are being taken into consideration.I'm having trouble preparing in advance due to the lack of information, so I'll also include photos for reference.The bath set was ready and even cleansing was provided.There are tons of face towels.There was only a bath towel.There are also cotton swabs in the sink.Toothpaste seems to be the same large size for general household use.The hair dryer is very weak, so I recommend bringing your own.The futon was fluffy and the pillow smelled a little, but other than that the sheets were crisp and I slept comfortably.◾️Points that caught my attentionI stayed in an 8 tatami room on the 1st floor, but the room didn't have a lock.There is one bathroom for both men and women. It was locked, but I was nervous because it could be opened from the hallway.There was no refrigerator in the room, so I had to use the refrigerator in the kitchen.There was only one outlet in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.Although there were some inconveniences, every detail was taken care of and I felt at ease.The landlady also treated us well.
