Accommodation period: September 2024Reservation grade: Japanese-style room 6 tatami [non-smoking]Assigned room: Japanese-style room 4.5 tatami mats*Since I spend about 150 nights a year both in Japan and overseas, this is mostly a memorandum for myself. The main things to focus on are bathing, gym, and laundry. I don't really care about cleanliness.■OverviewFirst of all, there is a slight difference between the room I reserved and the room I was assigned. I should have noticed this and pointed it out at check-in, but although I had experience with room upgrades in the past, I had never experienced a "downgrade" without an explanation from the staff or a refund, so I was caught off guard. It seems that the hotel was fully booked on that day, but that doesn't mean they would downgrade a single guest without explanation... It would be fine if the 4.5 tatami room I was assigned had a nice view, but it was probably the room with the most subtle view. In any case, if you are staying alone, be sure to check carefully. It seems to be a relatively popular inn, so there is a possibility that the same thing will happen to you, especially if you are a solo guest.■LocationAbout 7 minutes walk from Oshidomari Ferry Terminal (and its bus stop). From Rishiri Airport, it seems the closest way is to take a bus to the ferry terminal, but you will need to climb a somewhat steep slope from the bus stop to the inn, so be careful if you have large luggage. The best place to buy food and drinks is Seicomart, which is about a 5-minute walk away. There are also several other local stores. There is a local supermarket called Kumiai Store on the way from the terminal to the hotel, and it is cheap to buy souvenirs there. For meals, there are two or three cafeterias in front of the terminal. We also recommend a Chinese restaurant called ``Waraumon''.■Indoor-Widthnarrow. It's okay if you just want to sleep...-scenerysubtle. The room I stayed in had a barely visible view of the ocean, but it probably had the worst view of all the rooms. There is a protrusion just to the right of the window that gets in the way. *See photo-WifiActual measurement DL160Mb/s, UL44Mb/s-bathtubNone in the roomThere is a shared bath (in terms of size, it's more like a medium bath than a large bath), and it's spacious and comfortable. Available hours are from 17:00 to 23:00. By the way, hot water is constantly being poured into the bathtub and circulated, so even though it is shared with others, the water is quite clean.*When taking a bath, there is a sign that says ``Bathing in progress'' to prevent others from entering, so you can comfortably enter by yourself. The view is good when it's bright.*There is also a shower room separate from the bathhouse, which can be used from 17:00 to 08:00 the next day.-Hot water temperatureNo problem at all, piping hot water comes out.-Power of hot waterThere is momentum-Bed hardnessHard (because it's a futon on tatami)-refrigeratorThe limit is two 2-liter plastic bottles, which are quite small.-Security boxcan be-Outletthere are some on the wall-hangerfour-balconynone-tv setYes, quite small-dryerNone in the room (I think it was in the shared bathroom...I don't use it so my memory is vague)-toothbrushLocated in the shared washroom-Noise (adjacent room, outdoor)No problem outdoorsThe walls in the next room are quite thin, so you can hear the people talking next door and the TV. It's not a problem if the person next to you has good manners, but if not, it can be difficult.■Gymnone■LaundryThere is a paid washing machine (100 yen/time, 200 yen/time, I don't remember) and a dryer. You can use the provided detergent for free. However, since the washing machine and dryer are located in the changing area of the bathhouse, it is troublesome that someone cannot enter and use the washing machine while using the bathhouse. When you finish using the washer or dryer and try to pick it up, you may not be able to get it while the bath is in use.■CleaningNot even for consecutive nights■MealsNo meals for overnight stay■StaffThe staff were not unfriendly and I didn't feel uncomfortable, but I did feel that they were a little unfriendly.■Others・There is a rental bike and cycle shop in front of the ferry terminal. You can choose between a road bike or a mama's bike, and you can rent one for the entire day for 1,500 yen. Don't expect too much from the maintenance situation.・No air conditioning, only a fan. However, even in early September, it was cool enough that I didn't have any problems even though I'm sensitive to heat.・To check out, just leave your key at the front desk.・The toilets are shared, but they are generally clean and no problems.- Smoking is supposed to be prohibited in the building, but I could smell cigarettes near the front desk.・There is a microwave oven in the 2nd floor hallway.

Stayed for 2 people on 7/13.The facility is spacious and clean, and the price for two people is less than 10,000 yen, which is very reasonable. Here are some other good points.・The staff are soft-spoken and easy to talk to.・Large bath separate from the shower booth・Free earplugs and instant coffee・Free towels・It may be a coincidence, but the customer base is not often noisy at night.

The English name seems to be updated to "Kamuy Rishiri". Simple Japanese style inn.My only complaint is that you can hear your neighbour's speaking, doors opening, or someone going down the stairs. The lady at the front desk is friendly. Common facilities located beside the stairs-- microwave, hot water kettle, plastic cups, coffee. Yukata and towels provided at the same area. Shared toilets, but very clean and dry. Take turns at the bathing area (you can lock the door and turn the sign to indicate that you're bathing). There's also a pure shower area if you don't want to soak.

A friend who traveled with me booked this accommodation through booking.com. Full payment was made at the time of booking, and there was also an order confirmation email from booking.com. However, when we checked in, there was a big discrepancy between the hotel's booking record and our order. There were discrepancies in the number of days of stay, number of rooms, and number of guests. We repeatedly checked the content of the confirmation email from booking.com to see that it was correct, so it was the accommodation and booking. .com didn’t know which party made the mistake, but the staff present at the time just kept insisting that their records were correct. Instead of contacting the agent to ask for clarification, they asked us to contact booking.com to ask for clarification, and asked us to send email. ask! ! It was obvious that it would be faster and more direct to verify the truth by asking her, but she was unwilling to do it. Instead, she shifted the responsibility to the guest! The records between us and booking.com are correct, so we insist that it is not up to us to contact and verify! The person in this case was back and forth for more than 20 minutes. The other party received a call. It seemed that her colleague finally found out that our reservation record was correct, and then allowed us to check in.The staff's handling methods and attitudes during this process were very poor and unprofessional! I never expected to meet people with such service attitude in Japan! The average price of a night's stay is more than 1,000 Hong Kong dollars, which is not cheap. It just has a geographical advantage, it is close to the pier. The Japanese-style room is not too shabby, but the bed is clean and numb. It feels like being bitten when sleeping on it, but it should be dust mites, not bedbugs/woodlice, because there is no redness and swelling on the skin, but it is not recommended for everyone to stay!

Used in winter. The room was a bit old, like a normal inn, but it was clean. The toilet and bath are shared, and they were also clean. The baths are designed for one person at a time, so you can occupy the large bath and feel comfortable. There is a hot water pot and a microwave, so you can buy food at the nearby Seico Mart and eat it.The price was 8,000 yen for a room without meals when I stayed there, which was reasonable considering the island and location.
