Asama no Mori Campground is a great place for families and beginner campers. The facilities are well-equipped, including clean toilets and shower facilities, and sites with electricity. The forest site is cool and comfortable, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt. Asama. There are also many tourist spots in the area, so you can enjoy sightseeing while camping. You will need a car to access this campsite, but it is well worth it.

I rented an electric bicycle at Komoro Station for one night and two days to access it.Even if you don't have a car, you can visit by rental bicycle or bus. If you take the bus, Kinoko no Mori is the closest stop, and it's a 15 minute walk from there. It takes about an hour and a half to go by bicycle from Komoro Station and about 30 minutes to return! I can almost go home without any burns lolThe view is spectacular, so if you have the stamina, we recommend riding a bicycle. Even if I carried a backpack weighing about 10 kg, I managed to get by.I found it on my bicycle, and there is a place on the back side (on the downhill side) of the last uphill road to the campsite where you can see the entire Komoro area. Please look for it if you like 👍The campsite was well equipped and very nice. The sites were far apart and there were times when the lights were off, so it was very comfortable. It would be a good idea to listen to what the manager has to say, as they are very careful about separating (recycling) trash. Each city has different initiatives, so I think it's a good idea to be aware that things may be different from your usual city and use them comfortably. Personally, I learned a lot about recycling.Overall, it was a campsite that I would like to visit again. thank you very much.

Recommended for campers who want to spend a quiet time. The manager always patrols the room before going to bed. That's why the campsite remains so quiet. It seems that the campers who sometimes seem to make a lot of noise are called out to when patrolling. I have used the service many times, and I have a good impression of the manager, and I appreciate his consideration. The most recommended point is that you can spend your time in nature with peace of mind. The road to the campsite is a gravel road, but it can also be used by regular passenger cars.

The manager is too rude.I used it at Gurucamp, and although it wasn't noisy at all, it came to check on me once every 10 minutes (I'm not exaggerating, it's true 💧)The child was scared every time the red headlights approached. I'll never go again.

In the forest! ! Great nature! ! Forest bathing is the best! ! In the forest! !It's a campsite! For those who want to enjoy tranquility and nature! !A campsite that feels like you're using nature as it is!Quiet and minimal light! Highly recommended for those who want to use it quietly! However, I do not recommend it for people who want to make noise in a group!●About the owner's response upon arrivalI think he is a person who strictly handles both good and bad things! I think the atmosphere of refusing DQN is good! When you arrive, everyone will listen to the explanation in front of the lodge!Honestly, I think this is very important and good.Nowadays, there are many people who don't follow the rules, so it's safer to respond like this! !I got the impression that he was a person who really valued camping in nature. Please note that the car chain in front of reception is up to 2200 yen!●Road on the wayThe final climb from the asphalt is seriously dangerous!Bad gravel road lol●PurchasingThere are supermarkets and convenience stores at the foot of the mountain in about 15 to 20 minutes! Can I buy firewood, charcoal, etc. at the reception?I didn't look into it!We bought charcoal and firewood at Cain's Komoro store and Delicia Komoro! However, the selection of meat at the supermarket was poor, so there was one nearby.I bought meat at a place called “Nikuko”!Recommended because it's reasonably priced and has a variety of meats! There is also a parking lot●CampsiteWe booked a double site for 3 cars and 4 people, but it was a bit small. About that. Well, I think it's enough for normal trips! It feels like it's built in the forest, so there are a lot of insects, but it's truly the best forest bathing experience! !The toilet is half-flush, and it's in the forest! It feels like lolI didn't use the shower so I don't know what it's like! !【important】There is a washing area, but synthetic detergents cannot be used!・Wash with baking soda, wipe off oil with paper before washing・Also, you can throw away food scraps, but you must take combustible garbage home with you!The photos include things that can be thrown away and things that cannot be thrown away, so please refer to them if you are going! Also, there is very little light!I'm sure the starry sky is amazing, as my husband said he wanted us to experience nature in its natural state!Unfortunately for us, it looks like it's raining (;∀;)Lights for feet are a must! !●Hot springThere is also a Yakushikan nearby, but this area is a place with a lot of hot springs, and if you look into it, there are many, so I think you can go to a place where you can see the scenery if you like! !The open-air bath at Yakushikan is also amazing! ! ! !

I used it in a group. I think it's a campsite that makes good use of the original nature, and is a bit different from recent campgrounds, where you can feel more nature. The children also seemed to have fun playing with nature. It was a campsite that I would want to come back to again.

This is a very nice campsite located at the foot of Mt. Asama. Each site has a difference in height, so there is a certain distance from the next site. It's nice to have hot water in the kitchen. The property has been carefully maintained by the manager and is comfortable to use. There is a hot spring inn nearby that you can enter for 600 yen.
