There are rooms with cypress baths where you can take a bath at any time in the natural hot spring♨️! ️ Not only the rice but also the food was delicious😋The staff were polite and I had a good time. Personally, I felt that the variety of welcome drinks was a little lacking.

I would have given it a ☆5 if the response when contacting me to confirm my reservation was good.When making a reservation, I wrote in the notes section that I would be coming in a wheelchair, but when I contacted them to confirm my reservation the day before, I was made to feel uncomfortable by what I felt was discrimination against people with disabilities.At that point, I lost all excitement and had no desire to go, but it seemed foolish to just pay the cancellation fee, so I went.When I arrived, I found out what happened the day before. Is there anything you can do to help with your customer service? I was happy to hear such words from you.I had booked a room at Suiyatei, so the view bath and footbath were very soothing.It's air-conditioned, so even in the heat, it's fine.Many of the meals were small portions and didn't fill me up.In particular, the amount of rice was so small that if two people ate one bowl at a time, the rice bowl would be empty.My husband, who loves rice, seemed unsatisfied.I think it would have been nice to be able to order additional dishes.Another drawback is that the WiFi disconnects when you leave the room.If I go back, I can connect again, but the range is too narrow.Overall it was a good inn, so I would like to visit again if it's not a nuisance.

We stayed here for the weekend with our 4 and 2 year old children.I'm always looking for places with private dining rooms and family baths, so I'm limited, but this one met both of those requirements and I was able to relax.The staff are attentive and the building is well-built, so it is recommended for families with small children.The temperature of the hot spring was a little hot, so I couldn't let my 2-year-old go in, but he was able to soak in the warm bath in his room.The water was warm and stayed warm for a while after rising.There are many great services such as drink service and rice and miso soup service for the children, and I would like to use them again.

I stayed at GW. Service and foodI was very satisfied and had a very happy time.I'm so grateful that they took care of me when I told them what I couldn't eat in advance, and helped me with various things when I asked about my husband's birthday!However, I was a little disappointed because the check-out time was 11 o'clock, so while I was slowly getting ready, the door was unlocked around 10 o'clock and the cleaning staff came in. As soon as I noticed that he was still in the room, When I left, I was really surprised because I was changing my clothes💦I said it was the best inn I've been to so far.I think it will be even better if these things are improved. It's a wonderful inn full of hospitality, so I'll definitely use it again!Thank you for the happy time 😊

English follows...The hotel is a bit old and you can clearly see that in the small details, but the service and hospitality is excellent. The people who work there are very kind and do their job perfectly. The hot spring water is used in the bathtub in the room, so it means that your room has its own hot spring. The room we stayed in was extremely large and comfortable. The half board (breakfast and dinner) was excellent, very delicious, and there was a wide variety of Japanese dishes, so I was very satisfied. I want to go again someday. Yamagata is amazing! For those with allergies, the food served may contain soy, peanuts, and many seafood.The hotel is a bit old, and we can see that clearly in some small details... but the service and attending is great. People who work there are extremely nice, and they do their jobs flawlessly. The bathtub in the room uses water from the onsen, meaning that you have your own private onsen in your room. The room we stayed in was extremely spacious and comfortable. The half board (breakfast and dinner) were amazing, very delicious, with a huge variety of Japanese food and we felt very satisfied. Would love to go back someday... Yamagata is amazing! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a real Japanese style experience. For people with allergies, food served may contain soy, peanuts and plenty of sea food.

My family of four stayed at Suiyotei.Since my father is elderly, I used a wheelchair from outside the inn to my room on the 5th floor.The room had a bath and a footbath, so you could enjoy both while enjoying the view at any time.The staff at the inn were all smiling and very kind. The inside of the hotel was clean, and I thought the fresh flowers in the hallways were elegant.Not only us, but my father also seemed to have a lot of fun, especially the footbath.I would definitely stay here again.

It was a very lovely place and the staff were so kind and thoughtful. There was so much attention to detail in everything they did and the food that was included was amazing. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and will be recommending this to everyone I know. The onsen in the room was divine and it was all just so lovely. I think there were many things that I regret.First of all, I think the reception at the front door was wonderful.As for the guest rooms, although there are some things that are showing their age, I don't have any complaints.The open-air bath in the public bath was too lukewarm.I understand that it depends on the outside temperature, but it was still too warm.The flow rate of hot water may be too low...The hot springs drawn into the baths in guest rooms are just too hot, so why is there such a difference?It was so cold that I couldn't go in at all.However, it wasn't so much that I couldn't enjoy it, so I enjoyed it to the fullest.The most disappointing thing was the food.This time, I chose the meat full course.Although we were served a variety of different types of meat...the temperature and timing of the serving, the timing of the serving...I can't help but think that it was not commensurate with the price.I don't think it's a good idea if the first drink you order never comes out.Water and bottled beer. I don't think there is anything that will slow it down. Is there a shortage of personnel?If there was a reason, you should have told them in advance, or if you were aware that you were late, you should just say when you brought it in that you were late.Steak is probably the main dish.The quality of the meat is probably good.It was quite cold by the time it was served, which ruined the quality. Since when has it been made?The dish that was served with the rice was also quite cold, and the meat had hardened a little in the bowl.I think the meat itself was delicious, too.When serving the final dessert, you don't have to go all the way in and lower it all the way; it's not like you've already served everything and there's no room to put it, so it's enough to just lower the one in front that's easy to reach. I think...I felt it was more expensive because I stayed during the holidays, but I would have liked to see some improvement in terms of food.

During our three week trip to Japan we booked a night at the Hayamaken Ryokan for a wee treat whist on our honeymoon. This was our first time to a ryokan so we weren't sure of how things are supposed to go, thankfully the staff were amazing and on hand to help. From making sure we had dinner and breakfast bookings, helping us with the yukata and giving us a lift to the station, everything was top class. Special thank you to the staff for their patience with how little japanese we speak and especially for the gift they gave us.

Highly recommend this quiet and cozy hotel with friendly staff, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere. They change the menu regularly to offer variety and all the staff greet you with smiles. It's the perfect place for a short stay.
