Hostel Caranashi! It is the best lodging with unique Japanese charm. The kitchen, bedroom, and living room are separated so you can live comfortably in each. The living room and kitchen are independent, so you can use it until late at night, and the room on the second floor is quiet. It's a great accommodation with coffee and tea, a teacup set in the kitchen, a kitchen where you can cook, etc. It is not far from Namba (3-4 stops), but is located in a quiet neighborhood typical of Japan. There are various restaurants nearby, including ramen restaurants, sushi restaurants, yakiniku restaurants, Korean restaurants, Chinese restaurants, and Vietnamese restaurants. The owner, Murakami, is kind and gentle. He can communicate in English and is knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history. It is recommended to stay at this accommodation for at least 2 nights. I think it's much better than the capsule hotels that have recently increased in Osaka. It is also a good idea to try the local bathhouses around your accommodation. It is also a good idea to try a local bathhouse and have a local experience. It's a great accommodation.Thanks to the good accommodation, my trip to Osaka was very enjoyable!Next time, I want to visit again with my family.

The best accommodation I had in Japan. The house is very well maintained and beautiful, with a beautiful living room full of mangas, armchairs and beautiful decoration (even dragon quest figures). The shower is glorious (excellent pressure and temperature), the rooms are super cozy, and the sheets are soft and very pleasant to the touch (seriously this is the first time I've commented on the sheets, but I was surprised at how relaxing it was to sleep on them ). The owner is very friendly and hospitable, and all at a great price!The train is a 5-minute walk away, you can be in the center of Osaka in less than half an hourI would return without a moment's hesitation. I was sorry to have to leave

Such a clean, spacious, and well equipped hostel. Ken is a one of the most hospitable people I’ve met in my travels, and makes sure you have everything you might need during your stay - He even lent me his bicycle as I wanted to venture to a close by gym and didn’t feel like walking to and waiting for the bus!Location is quiet but close enough to the station (7 minute walk), would definitely recommend to others.

I'm really glad I chose this guest house for the first time in my life.We made the effort to walk from Imazato Metro station instead of Kintetsu Imazato station, but we were rewarded by the owner's warm and kind hospitality.I made a reservation in a dormitory, but luckily there was a private room available, so I was guided to a private room. The Japanese-style room was very clean and the futon was comfortable.What impressed me was that you could drink delicious tea and coffee for free. After taking a bath, I was planning to talk to the owner for a while and then go to sleep, but we ended up chatting for about two hours over tea and travel talk. The owner's personality and the comfort of the common space are truly amazing. (lol)If I write only good things, people will think I'm being a shill, so I'll just give my honest opinion: Isn't it hot in the summer when the shared space is at that temperature? I thought so. If that specification is for power saving or other reasons, please ignore it!I'll be there in November too!We hope to see you again in November.

Arrive at Imazato Station at 1045pm. The environment is safe - it takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the hostel.Ken is so nice - I was able to check-in at 11pm. He introduced the amenities the hostel has. Towels, bath and face; shampoo, conditioner, body wash; face wash, toner, face cream - even laundry is free! !! It’s so comfortable. The room is a bunk bed on a tatami mat. The kitchen is complete and the living room is so big. It’s great to have books👍

Ken-san was very flexible and accommodating. I took the night bus from Tokyo and had a 10am appointment the day I arrive in Osaka. I wanted a proper bath before this, and a place to leave my luggage. I couldn't check in yet, but he considered my situation and permitted me to use the common facilities. I could've booked a 3-star hotel or an apartment advertised affordably, but I'm glad I chose this place.The room was also spacious, and the futon comfortable for a good sleep.I especially love the "Cow Road" yakiniku place, nearby, an unassuming shop manned by a couple. The wagyu was soooo good for the price.There were also two train stations nearby (7 minute and 15 minute walk).He also had all the extra amenities that even business hotels won't have, like hair straightener, band-aid (for walking a lot), Muji face and bath products, etc.I also liked the small details of the place interiors like the Chinoiserie design sink, the industrial feels coffee cup wall, etc.

The boss is very nice and will help carry the luggage to the second floor. The basic functions are complete and the equipment is very suitable for daily life. The stairs are a bit steep and may not be suitable for the elderly or those with bad knees.

I came upon this place by complete accident, as I had to readjust plans during my trip. And what luck that I did.I can only agree with what the other patrons have already noted. Don't be mistrusting of the all 5* review record; they are all very much real and well deserved.There is great attention to detail and I really did feel comfortable from the moment I started my short stay there.A big thank you to the house's host, Ken! For his patience in talking to me on the occasions of sitting together and for all the care and attention he evidently puts into the guesthouse to make it the best it can be.I'm unsure when I will be back in Osaka, but it'd be a real shame not to come back here again. Thank you for the stay! 🙇😊

Simply the best hostel I stayed in Japan. You have everything you need : nice kitchen, coffee, water. The common space is really charming, it has definitely nice and authentic vibes. It's very clean and tidy. The neighborhood is very interesting: nice restaurants, cafes, sentos... It's really authentic, much more than around Namba or Dontonburi. I received a great welcome and the tenant is very friendly. I recommend this place 💯

It was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and I was most surprised at how relaxed I was, even though I'm a nervous person.One of the best parts of staying at a guesthouse is being able to talk with the owner and other guests.It was a lot of fun to talk a lot without worrying about time and get a glimpse of a world I didn't know.The room is clean and the futon is fluffy♪And there are plenty of amenities.I could feel the customer-first service everywhere, and it felt like I was visiting a relative's house.If I have a chance, I would definitely like to stay there again.The owner is very nice and it's a guest house where you can stay with peace of mind, so I highly recommend it when you go to Osaka! ︎

This hostel is located in a residential area, a 6-minute walk from Osaka Imazato Station. There is a small park, a shrine, and a Lawson convenience store nearby. The hostel master is very kind, and you can feel that he puts a lot of effort into the management and operation of the hostel, and he speaks English well. The atmosphere, amenities, cleanliness, temperature, tourist information, and facilities are all lacking. Next time I visit Osaka, I definitely want to stop by again.

The owner is good. I think he responds by looking at the other person, but it's not business-like or too aggressive, but it feels like he's very natural. The atmosphere of the inn is just as safe as the owner.Since it's a hostel, you naturally have to share the kitchen and shower, but it's also wonderful to have a small kitchen that feels like someone's home (in a good way), where you can't help but interact with people from different countries and generations.
