I got a discount ticket at a nearby campground and used it for a day trip to the hot springs. It's a hot spring inn with a modern atmosphere in a mountain village, and it was a great hot spring that helped me get in shape and relieve my fatigue!I was surprised to have to walk through a cave to get to the bathroom...but the wind chimes calmed me down. The bathroom is small, and the number of changing baskets limits the number of people in the room to about seven. There are 3 levels of bathtubs, and you can prepare yourself by repeatedly bathing with hot water, lukewarm water, and hot spring water!

The building has an early Showa/Taisho period feel to it, and the indoor bath, which goes through a cave, is full of retro vibes. However, the ceiling of the hallway was full of mold and part of it was missing. …

Thank you for your help on the Kanagawa-Naoetsu bicycle trip. In a certain manga, it was like Tokiwakan, but the room here was spacious and I was able to relieve my fatigue. Although the amount of rice was not large, the wasabi and soba noodles were excellent. At Gran Fondo Karuizawa, I took a break in the park in front of the inn twice, and although the road to get there was very steep and difficult, it was a good inn that made up for it. We had to rent laundry at Tokiwakan next door, but the inn was too luxurious for a randonneur. I would like to stay there again if I have a chance.

At Yakushikan, the koi carp that I had in my room 40 years ago was very tasty. Even after the renovation, the baths, food, and hospitality are warm, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of Komoro away from the hustle and bustle of Karuizawa.I had a great trip this time too, with the ``Chikuma River Sketch'' in hand.

Thank you for taking care of me during GW touring!・Hot spring…3 tiers of bathtubs with different temperatures are very nice! You can enter forever! The bathroom is not large, but the number of people in the bathroom is controlled by the number of baskets, so I don't think it gets too crowded. To use Kumonosuke, you have to walk up a steep slope outside, but that's okay! It's a bit difficult when it rains though.・Cooking…Japanese + Italian! Good in quantity too! I had a plan without dinner, but I was grateful that I was able to make it on short notice! There were three types of breakfast included in the plan, and I was confused as to which one to choose. The soba galette was very delicious!・Room... it's spacious. It was a Japanese-style room, but I had a bed, which I was grateful for as I was hurting my back that day!The exhibits inside the museum are also quite interesting!

There are three parking spaces in front of the inn near the entrance, and the other parking lot is on gravel. You can also use the Kumonosuke outdoor bath with a view of Tokiwakan, which is a sister building. You can get a bill at Yakushikan and give it to the people at Tokiwakan. If the weather is nice, the view is good, so I recommend it.Also, there are two ponies in the Yakushi Hiroba in front of the inn, and you can feed them for 200 yen.The room was a Japanese-Western style room on the second floor, with twin beds, a washlet, a sink, a bathroom with a bathtub, an empty refrigerator, an air conditioner, a TV, an electric kettle, and a nice view. The temperature of the hot springs is 3 levels: 41°C in the upper part, 32°C in the middle, and 14°C in the lower part, and the temperature was very nice.Dinner and breakfast were both sophisticated and very delicious, but I think the portions were a bit small for men, and I would like more options. There was also Getter Robo, which seems to be a sacred place for some anime.

Is mineral spring water around 130? Slightly stiff drinking experienceThe protruding part of the bath is interesting. What is the cold spring of around 18℃ used for? Is it to cool down in the summer? In addition, since I am a believer in free-flowing water, I will ignore the quality of the spring water.
