Free campsite.I was very grateful that there weren't many people and it was quiet and I could throw out the trash. The toilet is botton, but it doesn't smell bad. There is toilet paper. They collect trash, but they don't clean the toilets at all...I was shocked to see so many bugs in the toilets, so I moved to a paid campsite. There are no benefits other than free...

A free campsite near Otatomari Marsh. I was lucky because it was available until September 30th and I could use it on the 27th.I was the only one staying in the tent, and it was reserved for me. I was able to see Mt. Rishiri without clouds and had a luxurious time.

Although I wasn't able to camp this time, I decided to take a look around and plan to spend some time relaxing on Rishiri Island next year. I thought it would be quiet because it was a little far away.

It's a free campsite, so there are no problems or complaints.Being able to throw away trash was very helpful. However, I was surprised to see the Botton toilet for the first time in 20 years.

It's free, but the entire area is sloped, so you can't enjoy any of the views of Rishiri Island. It's close to the road, so you might be concerned about noise. There are no benefits other than it being free.
