The owner was very friendly and we had a relaxing time. The izakaya that I was introduced to called Yamanogusa was also very filling. The sweet tonne is especially delicious!

An inn built in the Taisho era that is an important cultural property with a long history.Since the entire building is rented, I think it's okay for multiple people to stay together. It was very convenient as it was close to Karuizawa ☺

I was attracted by the words "you can stay in a parlor" and "you can rent the whole house" so I decided to use it.In the end, it was a great decision to stay the night.I was surprised at the profound feeling of a zashiki-gyo, which exceeded my imagination. The child also seemed to be excited and was running around the hallway and room making strange noises. However, there are shoji screens and narrow stairs, and the heating equipment is kerosene stoves (in each room), so please be careful if you are bringing children. The kitchen had plates, cups, a refrigerator, and a microwave.Although I haven't checked, I feel like the owner will be able to lend you cooking utensils if you ask. There is no TV, but there is Wi-Fi, so I don't think it will be a problem. The area around the hotel is dotted with old buildings and stylish shops, so I think it's fun to take a walk. This is a place where you can have the valuable experience of staying in a historical building, so I would like the owners to do their best.

An inn full of Taisho romance. The owner's hospitality is also great!
