Recommended for those who want to easily stay alone on Rishiri Island.Although it is too far from the main ferry port and airport to walk there, it is well worth the bus ride. The town's famous public baths, Seico Mart, and gas station are also nearby, making it a perfect base for sightseeing.

After climbing Rishiri, I stayed in a dormitory. It was a room for four people, with walls and curtains separating each other, and I thought it was a spacious bed for a guest house. The space other than the beds is so small that you can hardly pass each other, but the lockers are large enough to comfortably fit a 35L mountaineering backpack, and there is also a separate luggage storage area. The only thing is that it was a little hot in the private room, probably because the weather was nice and the temperature was a little high, so it was a little hard to sleep. I think it's basically a cool environment.Guests can order as little as one drink at the bar, which was nice to be able to use before the restaurants outside opened. (If you are not staying overnight and are only using the bar, it is recommended to use the all-you-can-drink option for 1 hour or more)The staff were very friendly and they were happy to respond even when I had a sudden consultation because I was not feeling well.I think it's a very reasonable accommodation, with relatively inexpensive bicycle and car rentals, cheap tickets to nearby hot spring facilities, and mountain climbing plans (limited to consecutive nights).

Thank you for helping me save on the expensive accommodation costs on Rishiri Island! It's a beautiful place to sleep, and the concept is interesting, so there's nothing to say!

Guest house on Rishiri Island. There are beds only (with lockers with keys) and private rooms, making it possible to keep accommodation costs low on Rishiri Island, which tends to be expensive. It's cheap, but there is a kitchen space so you can cook your own meals. (Stove, microwave, refrigerator available)There is also a Seicomart a few minutes walk away, so you can buy breakfast there. At night, you can enjoy drinks and snacks while chatting with the staff in the bar space. There are several restaurants around the area, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal.It was also nice to be able to rent a car at a low price because of Times Car Share.

▪️Usage dateAugust 2023▪️Accommodation fee5,200 yen (1 night without meals)I am grateful that I can stay at this price even during the Obon period.▪️AccessAbout 10 minutes walk from the Kutsugata ferry terminal. Although it is far from Oshidomari's ferry terminal and Rishiri Airport, they will pick you up if you make a reservation the day before. The same goes for the return trip.▪️About rooms and facilities・Newly built in 2020 and beautiful・Personal lockers available in the dormitory room-Curtains can block people's eyes・Lights and outlets available in the dormitoryYou can freely spend your time in the dormitory morning and night.・Coin laundry availableA great point for climbers. After putting it in the dryer, you can use the clothesline freely and dry it in the sun.▪️BathShowers in the hotel are available free of charge. In addition, Rishiri's representative day-trip hot springs are within walking distance.A day-trip hot spring with carefully selected hot springs, two low-temperature saunas, and an open-air bath overlooking the ocean is a 3-minute walk away. The quality of the spring water, the sauna, and the location are all outstanding. If you stay here, you can buy a facility usage ticket for 300 yen instead of 650 yen, which is a great deal.▪️Transportation within the island from the innVarious means of transportation are available for rent at the inn.It can be used for climbing Mt. Rishiri and touring around the island. The island is 55km long, and if you drive at 60km/h, you can get around it in about an hour.Bicycles are not recommended as there are many hills.・Rental bicycle (1,000 yen per day)・Rental electric bicycle (2,500 yen per day)・Rental moped (3,500 yen per day)・Rental light car (10,000 yen per day)There is also one Times car in the on-site parking lot. If you are a member, you can conveniently plan your trip using this inn as a starting point.▪️Surrounding facilitiesSeicomart is about 5 minutes walk. However, it is not open 24 hours, but only from 6:00 to 21:00, so be careful if you are leaving early in the morning to go mountain climbing.Although there are few restaurants and bars, there are quite a few. There is no place to eat breakfast, so we had to buy it at Secoma. There is a hot chef.▪️OverviewA guesthouse with the concept of a mountain hut 4m above sea level, where you can stay at a relatively reasonable price for Rishiri Island.・Dormitory type with shared shower and toilet・Many people leave before dawnTherefore, it is not suitable for people who are nervous or who want the comfort of a hotel. However, compared to mountain huts, it is quite comfortable.Even though it was midsummer and the air was not clear at night, I could see the starry sky and the Milky Way from the inn, and it was a great memory. This is an inn that I would like to stay at again.
