I was taken there for the first time in the bitterly cold winter of Katsuyama. I was surprised at how good the hot water was!

Stayed here for the purpose of the dinosaur museum.I was worried because the outside looked old, but the inside was new and clean. The hot springs were very hot but felt good. I went on a weekday, so it was empty, but I heard it's crowded with locals on weekends. There were many kinds of new and popular manga, and I enjoyed them.It was hard to sleep because the futon had a mysterious chemical-like smell. My family didn't say anything, so I think it depends on the person.

I came camping for a three-day weekend in the latter half of September, so I used it for two days, the 2nd and 3rd day!I went to the dinosaur museum during the day and stopped by on the way back.I used the bath with my daughter, and the other customers greeted us and made us feel at home, and she enjoyed bathing as well (^^)!There were many people with children. There are 3 indoor baths, a cold bath, and a sauna. It would have been nice to have an open-air bath, but the indoor bath alone was enough to refresh me!My daughter seemed to be a little concerned about the smell, but I didn't find it too strong. After bathing, there was a rest area with manga and picture books, so my husband, who had arrived earlier, was able to relax there!I would definitely like to use it again when I come here again!

When I go to Katsuyama, I usually go to the hot springs here. The source has changed. A little brown. It might be perfect for people who like hot baths. The moment I entered the washroom, I couldn't breathe because of the heat (lol)You can also pay with your smartphone, which is great even when you don't have coins.

I used it for consecutive nights without meals when I went on a mountain climbing expedition to Mt. Hakusan and Mt. Arashimadake. This is an accommodation facility with a day-trip hot spring. It was very hygienic, had good access to the trailhead of Mt. Niyama, had friendly staff, and was reasonably priced, so I had no complaints.

The bath 😌♨️ is pretty good thoughToo bad about the standing water! It's better if it's free-flowingIt felt a little dirty because it was a pool of water.
