I used it the night before climbing Kusumi. It was a long walk from Makinoto Pass, so it was quite a distance. It was a very quiet and quiet place, and there didn't seem to be any guests staying that day, so we were able to use all of the hot springs for private use.Even though the hot water is the same, it feels different.I was able to soak in the hot springs slowly without worrying about the taste or smell.I liked the open-air bath more than the indoor bath. The meal was quite voluminous and the ohitsu rice was also very delicious.Customer service was polite and not grating.

There was a shuttle service to the open-air bath in the annex, and the bath was very nice, but the bath at the inn was slimy and dirty with various things floating around. There was a lot of dust in the closet where the futon was kept in my room, and I was horrified. It can't be helped that it's old, but it was a shame that there were some dirty parts. The location is nice but it's a waste.

2 nights from 2024/2/27From Fukuoka Airport to Bungo Nakamura Station, take the Kokonoe Komi Bus to Sujiyu OnsenI was worried because Komibus was canceled due to snow.Due to the warm winter, there was only a light amount of snow on the Kokonoe Mountain Range, but there was no snow at all along the way.It takes time, but it is convenient to access by public transportation. It's about a 5 minute walk from the bus stop, right in front of ``Utaseyu'' and right next to ``Iwanyu''.If you get lost and don't notice the signboard, it's small.A local who happened to be passing by told me about it.This is an old building with a tasteful interior decorated with dolls and flowers.Tea service and accommodation book entry in the lobbyI was able to carry my luggage during that time.Corner room directly above the indoor bath,Washroom (water only)/near the toilet (washlet available/unisex)kettle type potAlthough there is no vending machine and no refrigerator. At this time of year, it is OK to leave it outside the window. For Wi-Fi, just enter your email address, and the sensitivity and speed are good. There are 2 indoor baths available for private use (not open from 10:00 to 14:00)There is a free public bath within a 1-2 minute walk so you can also use that. There is a hair dryer in the bath on the left side of the indoor bath.It seems that you can rent it at the front desk. The source water is around 77℃, water is added, and the water is flowing directly.Gentle spring quality, tasteless and odorlessRinse-in shampoo and body soap onlyApparently showers cannot be used in winter.Maybe it's because it wasn't cold that dayIt took a while for the water to become hot, but I was able to use it.There are 3 open-air baths that can be picked up by car. It's in an unexpected locationThe changing room is also warm with heating. Each bathtub had its own charm, which was nice.I especially liked “Fuishin-yu”There are some negative reviews about the accommodation. The room we used was directly above the bath, so the tatami mats were rough. The floor of the changing room was turning over and there were stains.Due to its age, there are variousThe meals are served in a separate room and are not fancy (I like the lack of watery sashimi and salted shrimp tempura).Delicious and good value for moneyAlthough it is old, I think everything is kept clean. If you feel dissatisfied afterwardsPlease let the host know what you want.Of course, you may be refused.I got a cold water potOn the day I went out, I was able to have breakfast earlier due to the convenience of the bus. They certainly weren't a friendly couple.I never felt uncomfortable.

I arrived at the entrance of Sujiyu Onsen on the Kyushu Crossing bus 8 minutes after the scheduled time, and my husband came to pick me up, but he gave me a suspicious look and gave me a bad impression, even though I was looking forward to it...Kakuoya's recommended open-air bath is also located 500m ahead of the inn, and although it is quaint, it is completely visible from the outside if you are not good at it.I don't really recommend it.The indoor bath at Kakuoya (24 hours free flowing water)There were various things floating around and it was dirty. The food was the same as what was posted on the internet, which left me feeling unsatisfied. The landlady was also unfriendly. My first impression was bad, so I don't think I'll go there.

Good for people who like remote hot springs, and I think the food is very cost-effective.Our hot springs are very ordinary, but you can use them 24 hours a day. It's hard to tell, but there is a private hot spring 5-6 minutes away on foot. The atmosphere is nice, but the inn specifies a time for you to enter (it will be open at ⚪︎⚪︎, so please come in).The inn also specifies the time for your meal, and you are guided to a private room where you can enjoy delicious food. There was a shared toilet, but there was no washlet.Wi-Fi requires site registration, which is a hassle.

The best part about this place is that the private open-air bath is located about a 5-minute walk from the inn, but there is a steep uphill slope on the way, so it's pretty tough, but when you open the sliding door of the bathroom, you'll find yourself in a luxuriously spacious area. Sano's stone bathtub was very elegant and felt great! this timeIt was my first time staying there. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Personally, I thought I would like to go there again. The parking lot was not right next to it, but a little further away. Thank you for your help.

There are two indoor baths, but they are tasteless. The main feature of this inn is a detached bathhouse that takes about 7 minutes on foot. There are three of them, but due to the limited number of guests, you will only be able to bathe if you apply in advance or plan to take a bath the day after your stay. It's possible that you don't usually fill it with hot water. Are you motivated? It was the kind of inn that made you want to say.You can get a medal to take a bath in the nearby Utaseyu, but it's not worth going! There is literally a Utaseyu, but the temperature of the water is low, and although I haven't measured it, it may or may not be 40 degrees Celsius. It's lukewarm. There are no showers and only water comes out of the taps. Rather, the public bath located a little further up the mountain is warmer and more pleasant. Unfortunately, there is no washing area.
