I was only able to stay for one night, but the owner and staff were very friendly and it was a really comfortable guesthouse. If I go to Rishiri Island again, I would like to stay there for 3-4 nights.

Great access, just 0.2 km from the ferry terminal! Rishiri Fuji can be seen from your room window. The warm service from the staff, the spectacular sunrise and sunset views from the top of the cape on the back mountain, and the easy access to the hot spring convenience store and restaurant by renting a bicycle. You can rent a bicycle for about 1km and buy it at a home center that has everything you need for food, clothing, and shelter, so next time you might want to bring nothing! We recommend it as a base for climbing Rishirifuji, one of the 100 famous mountains, circumnavigating the island, and walking around Rebun Island. There are also cooking utensils so you can cook your own meals.

I'm a fan of Raiha and guesthouses, so I tried staying there because the reviews were high, but the reviews weren't that high, which is a mystery. The location is close to the ferry terminal and the view from the room is nice.

I planned to stay for 2 nights, but it was so comfortable that I ended up staying for 3 nights. All the staff treated me like family and made me feel very comfortable. Bicycles and electric bicycles are also available for rent. Many guesthouses don't allow you to leave your luggage or stay in the facility after you check out, but this one allows you to relax in the lobby until it's time for the ferry. In the evening, I was able to talk about various things with the guests of the guesthouse over drinks and food that I had brought with me, and was able to come into contact with various values. Since the guesthouse is located by the sea, you can spend your time relaxing on the island listening to the sound of ocean waves at night and the cries of black-tailed gulls in the morning. I fell in love with Rishiri Island! I'll be back again 😄
