This is my second stay.It was a trip of 7 energetic old people.It was a trip from the water, over Konroku Pass, to Katashina to see the autumn leaves, and to share the comfort of staying overnight in August with friends.Normally, I chose the time when the leaves would be in full bloom, but perhaps it's because of global warming. It was.However, there were emotions all over the place that made it all the more difficult.We looked at the Chiaki Ranch near the inn (there are no horses at the moment, but it's a nice little ranch), soaked in a small hot spring fed directly from the source, and enjoyed some heartwarming country cuisine.Enchanted by the moon that appears and disappears5 a.m. The quiet sound of a bell from a nearby mountain templeIt was really soothingOn the second day, we took the ropeway at Marunuma Ski Resort and looked at the distant mountains (100 Famous Mountains) in the air at an altitude of 2000 meters.Get off there and go to Marunuma...The glittering surface of the lake (like scattered diamonds) welcomed us.Lunch will be at a farm restaurant on the Katashina plateau.It was deliciousIt was a very satisfying trip! ︎*I was very impressed with the owner who kindly accommodated one of my friends who needed a bed!! ︎Thank you very much♪

I stayed with my friends and family (4 adults and 3 children) from 7/20 to 7/22 to participate in a Bluebird Canoe canoe tour in Suganuma that I had been planning since early spring. The canoe tour and this old folk house were both great experiences. I would like to share my experience so that I don't forget it. The original summer scenery of Japan, reminiscent of the Ghibli films “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Only Yesterday,” and the wonderful country life! It was a perfect experience in an old private house to spend a quiet and peaceful time. I was tired of staying in uniform hotels and inns all over Japan, and I wanted my children to have a different experience than usual, so I decided to choose this old private house and it was the right choice. did. Thatched roofs with high ceilings, traditional verandas, and tatami mats. Because the area is rich in nature, there were some small insects that came into the room, but it didn't bother me at all. renovatedThe toilet, washroom, and large bathroom were equipped with facilities comparable to those found in a first-class hotel.As my children become elementary school students and grow up, I hope to make memories at Okera, an old folk house, every time we go on summer vacation. I will definitely visit again.

I was very satisfied with the quiet old folk house and the very comfortable facilities. I had a good night's sleep thanks to the most comfortable bedding. The food was also delicious. Also, the service was not excessive, so I was able to enjoy my time with friends without hesitation and with a free plan. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again.
