This is a pension in a quiet mountain. There is no bathroom in the room, but you can use a private bath. The home cooked food prepared by the owner was very delicious. We also have wine, so you can enjoy it with your food. There is also a large wooden deck, so you can watch the starry sky while breathing in the fresh air. It's the perfect place to get away from the crowds and spend some quiet time. The owner is a talented person who has climbed famous mountains around the world. You will receive appropriate advice on mountain climbing, hiking, etc. It was a very nice space.

Used the night before climbing Mt. Nikko Shirane. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice, and I think it's irresistible for mountain climbing enthusiasts.Although the bathroom and toilet are shared, I was impressed that there was a separate, authentic restroom with a large mirror.Although the bath is not a hot spring, it is nice that it can be reserved for a couple. The bed felt a little hard, but it was simple and tasteful. If you choose the Nikko Shirane Ropeway plan, you can buy tickets at a good price and avoid lining up at the ticket office. It was a very nice inn that I wanted to stay overnight while skiing during the snowy season.

Used for climbing Mt. Nikko Shirane. It seems that the previous owner was a mountaineer who even went to the Himalayas, so there are mountain books piled up everywhere in the pension. The name Pumori is said to have been taken from the name of a mountain in the Himalayas. The previous owner was away in the Himalayas when we visited.Perhaps because it was the off-season for tourist destinations, there were no other guests staying and the hotel was reserved for private use.The bath is a regular bath, so if you want to take a hot spring bath, you might want to go to Zazen Onsen, which is attached to the Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort, which is a little further down the road. The food at the inn is exceptionally delicious. It doesn't seem like the ingredients are particularly good, but the sauce tastes amazing. The meat in ``Pork and Prune Braised in Red Wine'' was so tender that I thought I was eating beef. The prune and red wine sauce may seem a little sweet on its own, but when combined with the meat, the sweetness brought out the flavor of the meat. The tableware that appeared to be Mashiko ware was also quite elegant.

Stayed here the day before climbing Mt. Nikko Shirane. The previous owner was a mountaineer and went to Nepal every year. The pension is named ``Pumori'' because its previous owner climbed the mountain. The inside of the pension is decorated with photographs taken in Nepal, a large number of books and photo books related to mountain climbing, and mountaineering tools such as the ice ax that the previous owner seemed to have actually used, giving it a nice atmosphere. If you like mountain climbing, reading will keep you busy even at night. I wanted to have a chat with the previous owner, but he had just left for Nepal when I visited, so I was a little disappointed. The second generation, on the other hand, is an excellent chef, and his selling point is the deliciousness of his dinners. Joshu pork braised in red wine with prune sauce was very delicious. Other than the fact that the bath is not a hot spring and the room is a little small, I can't find any drawbacks, but the good points more than make up for it.

It was several years ago. Although it was out of season, my friend and I stayed here to refresh ourselves. Since it was that time of year, there were no other guests other than us, and the hotel was reserved exclusively. The food was very delicious, but the added value of being in that space was also great. You can also see the starry sky very beautifully.Even though we were only two guests, we were treated well and were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest.

Apparently the young owner's father is a mountaineer, so there were lots of mountain photos and books in the building. The interior is clean and calm, and the communal spaces have a pleasant atmosphere. This may be because there were no other guests staying. The food was delicious. The quantity was normal. It was an inn that I would like to visit again.

Many customers enjoy leisure activities such as skiing and mountain climbing. The interior is stylish, with a warm wooden structure and decorated with dried flowers and patchwork fabrics. In the winter, the entire building is warm with a full-fledged fireplace. The bathroom and bedroom are both very clean. The food was so delicious that I was able to eat tomatoes, which I don't like, for the first time (lol)
