Visited for a day bath in late August. We arrived at 11am and it was already almost full. The hot water and spectacular view are definitely a plus. The sauna and cold bath are small, and the beds in the outdoor air bath fill up quickly. It took about 2 hours, but there was a line of cars waiting to enter the parking lot. It may be a timing issue, but if you're going on a day trip, it might be easier to get there in the morning or evening.Addendum correctionThe day trip bath reception opens at 2:00 pm and the closing time is 3:00 pm, so it was impossible to aim for the evening.

It belongs to the Japan Secret Hot Springs Association, and the hot water and location were excellent. However, there were a lot of stink bugs all over the place, which made me nervous (lol)

First Hokkaido rental car trip. |The Hoheikyo Gorge, which is recommended by the general, is congested due to the holidays and seems to have been closed due to accidents, so I suddenly changed the direction …

This expensive hotel is beautiful simply because of its location...as long as you get a room on the lake, which are small and very basic for the price..but I was most DISAPPOINTED to discover that all the women can stare down at the naked men in the natural onsen as they walk to the ladies pool. We alerted the desk and they unconcernedly said "yes it's been like that a long time and noone said anything " well we said something, I think it's totally inappropriate to have our privacy so awfully breached and even worse to not care when we raise it. In Australia it would be a crime, I can't speak for Japan though.
