They opened at 12:00 and we arrived at 8:00, but they accepted us without making a bad face and we were able to camp in a great location. They couldn't help but notice that we had forgotten our cooking utensils, so they gave us freshly picked vegetables, lent us cooking utensils, and even made us an impromptu cutting board. They thought we might want to have a bonfire by the river, and even mowed the grass for us.The river water is cold and clean, the mountains visible beyond are beautiful, and the location is perfect. The entrance is difficult to find. Go down the road to the gymnasium. (It's a good idea to set the gymnasium as your goal.)

I used it for camping with a friend. When I entered the site, I couldn't find the reception desk, so there was a phone number for the administration building (?), so when I called, the administrator came in a light truck.Besides us, there were many people who were stranded because they didn't know where to find the reception.I thought it would be difficult to deal with the management as it seemed like a one-off operation (?), but the manager was very pleasant and kind, and told me that I was free to choose the site (although I had decided on it at the time of reservation). I was able to camp using the spacious space. The water supply, toilets, and kitchen were all located in easy-to-access locations. If I have a chance, I would like to use it again.

favorite campsiteThere is a river, you can relax while looking at the mountains, and it is very rare that open fires are allowed. In the summer, we had a table and chairs in the river.

It's getting long so I'm rewriting it.【Note】As of October 2023, the bridge that passes in front of Lodge Chatty and leads to the campsite is closed to traffic due to deterioration and repair work. As stated on the official website, you can go to the campsite by branching off to the right just before Ota Bridge (there is a sign board to guide you). This road is closer, but it's narrower, so if there's an oncoming car, it's quite difficult to pass each other. Well, there are rarely oncoming cars.We didn't have one before, but now we sell firewood. 700 yen for various hardwoods. One bundle will last about 3 hours. It's loaded onto the back of the manager's light truck, so just mention it when paying.=====Below are old reviews=====Used solo for one night from 2019/11/2. It was sunny and hot during the day, but the temperature dropped to 2℃ at night. After arriving, we were guided around the venue by a kind manager, and set up on the riverside site where there are many solo participants. The toilet and kitchen are a little far away, but it's nice to have them open. I was prepared for the ground to be rocky since it's close to a river, but it was hard enough to stick a peg in with your hand. The men's restroom has one Japanese-style flush and two Western-style flushes (heated toilet seat, non-washlet). It was well taken care of.Overall, it was a very good campsite. I would definitely use it again.By the way, I forgot to ask, but what are the business hours? The second time was on November 9, 2019, for two weeks in a row (lol).Next time I'll bring a friend to Duo Can.I talked to the manager about various things, and it seems that the business will be open until mid-November this year, and the decision will be made depending on the temperature. The toilets and kitchen draw water from the stream and cannot be easily shut off, so close them before the water freezes. The new year starts around the second half of April. This also depends on the temperature.Next time I would like to go to the cherry blossom viewing camp.

I used it for solo camping on a motorcycle. On the day, there were only two groups including me, so I was able to choose the location freely, and since the site was large, I was mostly solo camping. The toilets and washrooms are clean and I think it is safe for women as well. I think it depends on the location, but the pegs are easy to get stuck in, making it easy to set up the tent. Also, I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but I was given permission to have an open fire, so I was able to do it over an open fire. The manager is kind and the explanations are easy to understand.Since the site is in a forest, there is no view, but there is a beautiful river flowing beside the site, so it looks like you can play in the river in the summer. This is a site that I would like to use again if I have the opportunity.

I saw the website and made a reservation over the phone!Although I contacted them three days before the event, the owner was very accommodating and responded warmly. The camping fee was 1,100 yen per person and 1,100 yen per car (you can drive into the site), and the site was spacious and had a high degree of freedom. This time we visited with 3 people (1 woman, 2 men) with 2 tents and 1 tarp, and we were able to spend a relaxing time in a quiet campsite. Please note that although the campsite is located in the mountains, the site itself is not overgrown with trees and is rather unobstructed, so if you plan to camp in the rain, you will need to take sufficient precautions. I thought. There is a spacious cooking area, so I think it's a good idea to move the tent to the kitchen area and fold it up while keeping an eye on your surroundings when you're dismantling! There is a roadside station and hot springs near the campsite, and the toilets at the campsite are clean, so it is a campsite that is easy for women to use.The price is also very reasonable, so I would definitely visit again.Thank you very much for this time\(^o^)/

I stayed at the bungalow on 7/27.28.29.The owner was very kind. There is also a cooking building where you can enjoy barbecues. We were able to enjoy nature at a quiet campsite.
