Accommodation for members of the Secret Hot Springs Protection Association Tangible Cultural PropertyIt's deep in the mountains. The building and interior are from that time, giving you a nostalgic and retro feel that will make you forget about the hustle and bustle of time. There was a hearth near the entrance that had been used for a long time, and foreigners were drinking tea there. The rice for the meal was hard and delicious. There was almost no signal.Hoshi-no-yu Mixed bathing, dark lighting, short time for women only, lots of ladiesChoju-no-yu Hot Only 2 washing areasTamaki no Yu open-air bath

Visited at the request of my old wife! Hoshi Onsen/Chojukan, a hot spring resort that became famous in JR's ``Full Moon'' commercial during the JNR era. Over ten years ago, I drove a 4WD on a snowy road and came here with a friend. However, this time, Gigi and Baba were on a trip together, and we stayed overnight in the car!Kami was overwhelmed with emotion as we were served tea in front of the hearth! Until check-out, the open-air bath at Tamaki-no-Yu, which has three hot springs: Hoshi-no-Yu, Tamaki-no-Yu, and Choju-no-Yu, is great (personally, it's the best). The customer service from all the employees is very good. The food was delicious in the morning and in the evening, with just the right amount of food and no leftovers. The number of ``accommodations'' that I want to visit has increased.

The spring quality is good. The spring quality is gentle and warm, so you can stay in it for a long time. But I guess it's not possible in winter.Day trip fee: 1,500 yen, from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. Reception is open until 1:30 p.m.Below are the negative points.Crocodiles have been lined up since morning. It's a mixed bath and it's transparent, you don't wear bathing clothes, and there's no screen. It's already that kind of place. To prepare yourself mentally, we recommend reading other people's reviews with low ratings.Even if I stay overnight, I only have 2 hours of female time at night. It's not fair to women if the price is the same whether you stay overnight or for a day trip. Nowadays, there are more and more hot springs that are doing well with a rotating system. There were reviews saying that the women's version smells like chlorine, but I don't particularly notice it. I want to believe that because it claims to have free-flowing hot spring water. The small bathhouse doesn't feel that old, but there is no ventilation, so mold is noticeable. Opening windows is recommended. It's like a public bath. There were only a few washing stations, and about half of the people came in without washing. Since the amount of hot water poured is small, the cleanliness is not very good.

I took a day trip bath.On this day, there was no waiting time and I got in smoothly. There are two types of baths: mixed bathing and women only. Mixed bathing does not allow bath towels or bathing, and there is no washing area. The bathroom is spacious and has an elegant atmosphere, so if you don't mind being seen by men, you can use it.The quality of the hot spring water in the female-only bath was exactly the same as the mixed bathing bath, with hot spring water gushing out from below. The bathroom itself was small, but there were two washing areas, and there weren't many people, so I took my time.

A mountain inn that is quite high-class among the Japan Secret Hot Springs Association, where you can enjoy the goodness of wooden construction. The hot spring bath that rises from the bottom of the bathtub is made entirely of Japanese cypress, and the dim lighting adds to the atmosphere. The food is not fancy, and I'm impressed by the mountain village-like menu and honest, honest seasoning. However, having Wi-Fi only available in the lobby is fatal for people who work while traveling.
