We felt very comfortable in the Mooi Guesthouse (Hübsch in Dutch). The host was very nice and helpful. And thanks to the other guests and sometimes with the help of Google Translate, we had a lovely, conversation-filled evening. Kampai ;-) For us it was the best point to explore the region. The train stop is nearby and we explored the city on foot. Thank you very much for the hospitality

Not far from Nanakamachi, the price is affordable. The soundproofing is not that good, but it is acceptable. The boss is very nice. You are welcome to chat with him. His English is very good!

Such a good vibe! I really liked my stay here. Asa-san is a very kind and good host, and the guesthouse is very welcoming and clean. The living space invites for conversations, and I have met interesting people during my stay!Aizu-Wakamatsu is a city that grew on me, with a lot of interesting architecture. The gardens (Oyakuen) are beautiful and well worth a visit. The recommendations from the owner were spot on: the ramen close to the house being an incredible place for breakfast or lunch (Uende Yamaga), the onsen/sento is one of the better ones I've visited (Fujinoyu), and the local specialities at Mitsutaya we're great. All in all a 100% recommended spot to spend a couple of nights - I would choose this place over a hotel any day.

It was my first time staying at a guesthouse, and I was able to spend a comfortable time in the clean accommodation. I was surprised by the excellent communication skills of the young, lovely male owner. They create a homely atmosphere and provide friendly service while keeping an appropriate distance. By staying here, you will be able to enjoy the real pleasure of your trip even more. I am grateful that I was able to find such a wonderful accommodation.

It was a nice stay for two day snowboarding in Inawashiro Snow Paradise.First of all the warm welcome from owner Asa san was amazing. There were everything you need! From bathing to toothpaste, face wash, cooking ingredients (spices, sauce, oil), utensils everything. The cons are the water flow for hot shower is sooooo low and the hot is not even hot.The house is old and it makes too much noise even you take a silent step.I went in winter so it was pretty cold (-7 around), there is no aircon other than the living room but they provide heater (kerosene one) but it stops after some certain time and you need to restart. I needed to wake up two times while sleeping 5 hours to turn on the heater. The second day was little horrible. The kerosene was finished and around 2am I needed to fill the kerosene by myself ( it was my first time to do such things without any instructions, I had no chance since it’s too cold). And the heater itself make much noise.Otherwise the stay was like a homestay.

We stayed for 2 consecutive nights in early November with 3 people, 2 adults and 1 child (3 years old). It was a very impressive stay, so I would like to comment on the details. We stayed for 2 consecutive nights in early November with 2 adults and 1 child (3 years old). It takes 20 minutes to walk to Aizu Tsuruga Castle, but you can rent a bicycle from the guesthouse.
