The place is very simple, it felt like I was visiting a relative's house because the chalet has many of the owner's personal belongings, who frequently entered the house to see if we were well accommodated. The owner is super friendly and loves to talk. We stayed in a big house and so we went down the left side of the guesthouse to get there. The path can be slippery so don't take too much heavy luggage. At the entrance you take off your shoes and wear socks but if you want, bring your own sneakers. Upstairs there are 3 medium bedrooms with clean futons that you need to assemble and tidy up. Each room has its own heater. There is only 1 bathroom which is downstairs and it is small and very simple. At the front door there is a hot tub and shower, which are hot and individual in size. If you want a bigger hot tub, you need to go to the main entrance of the guesthouse and pay to use the bath. I paid 300 yen for a face and bath towel kit and toothbrush. Each person needs to bring their own hygiene kit, bath and towels, but this option is available in the chalet lobby. The kitchen is next to the living room. There's warm kotatsu to warm your feet. The chalet comes with an antique stove, microwave and refrigerator. Nothing luxurious but worth the price you pay. In the room where I stayed I could enjoy the landscape and the snow. He has a beautiful and calm dog. There is no maid and no change of sheets. We leave everything clean and tidy when leaving the premises. I recommend it to those who don't want luxury and just a place to go skiing nearby.

The owner was a friendly man and his wife, who welcomed us with a big smile and delicious food. This is a very comfortable pension. Although I was alone, I was able to have drinks with my partner at night and had a great time. We recommend Shiro Tsubasa, a cozy pension surrounded by wonderful nature!
