My employees and their families came to Wakayama Prefecture on a summer vacation~✌️I was confused between Wakayama city, but I decided on Azashi because I wanted to relax and enjoy the sea!From the time I made the reservation, the owner was very friendly and answered all of my requests, and even though they said the price was open, they kept it at an incredibly low price!(5 adults, 2 children, elementary school students)The price was for one night at the hotel.Moreover, dinner and breakfast are included, as well as a mahjong table)I rented both the detached house and the main house!If you want a private room, you can stay in a detached room, or if you want a traditional guesthouse feel, stay in the main building.The toilet, bath, and room were all clean and I didn't feel uncomfortable!There are amenities in the bath so you can go empty-handed 😁 (Wi-Fi is also available)The food cannot be called luxurious, but they prepare ingredients from Wakayama, and they even come with plum wine and umeboshi sashimi!When I told him that I like seafood, the owner went out of his way to bring me some tokobushi and served it to me for dinner the second day.1 to 2 minutes walk to the beach (lol)My child wanted to catch crabs so we went for a walk at 6am and had fun seeing shrimp, snails, small fish, and crabs.For sightseeing, Nachi Falls and the southernmost tip of Honshu are just a short drive away!You can find 100 yen shops and supermarkets if you go to Kushimoto-cho!It really feels like returning home to grandma's house in the countryside, which you can't get at a big, beautiful hotel.This is a highly recommended inn for those who want a truly relaxing stay.I was a troublesome guest staying late at night, but thank you for your kindness until the end 🎵It was a great memory of my trip m(._.)m

Naoki (the host) was super nice and helpful. He even drove me into town because there was no public transport. He even picked out bus routes and sights for me. The house I lived in was amazing too, and getting up in the morning to eat Naoki's breakfast was just the best. If I go to Kushimoto again I would definitely stay at Naoki's again.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my small child.I was able to spend a relaxing holiday in an old-fashioned Japanese house.The building itself may have been built a while ago, but the plumbing has been completely renovated and is convenient and clean.The room was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable.All seasonings and cooking utensils are available, so it's perfect for people who want to spend a vacation while cooking their own meals.It was bonito season, and the owner bought freshly caught bonito directly from a fisherman at a low price.I also had the valuable experience of cutting and searing a bonito, which was a lot of fun.Unfortunately, there were many cloudy days, so we couldn't see the starry sky, but if it had been a clear day, we would have been able to see a starry sky full of stars.At night, we enjoyed fireworks outside the eaves.There is a sea and river with calm waves and currents just a short walk away.The small children seemed to enjoy spending the day there.A short drive will take you to Taiji Town, where you can spend some time playing with dolphins.

Since the main purpose of my trip was fishing, I was looking for an inn near the sea.There is a river and rocky area in front of the inn, and if you walk for 5 minutes, you can go fishing at Azashi Fishing Port!The owner, who is good at handling fish, was in the main building, so I felt safe, there were surprisingly few insects, and the inn had a nice smell of wood and tatami mats. I would like to go again, thank you very much.

I used it with 5 friends on the first day of Golden Week.As we had originally planned to go on a motorcycle tour, it was difficult to buy ingredients and beer for drinks, so we talked to them over the phone and they happily helped us with the purchases. The weather forecast changes all the time, so I had planned to go on a bike ride based on the weather from the previous day, but the weather forecast for the morning of the day said it was going to rain, so I suddenly had to travel by car, but I arrived at the hotel. When we arrived, they told us that we would be wet from the rain on our bikes, so they prepared a towel for us at the entrance.We had requested to eat seasonal Wakayama food, and they served us with spring bonito. We had sashimi, tataki, whale ghosts, etc., which were very delicious.The inn was an old private house that had been beautifully renovated, and it was very clean.The innkeeper was a bit shy, but... We had friendly conversations while eating, and it felt like home.It was dark when I checked in, so I couldn't see the view, but when I woke up early in the morning and went out for a walk, I saw it right in front of me. It was a spectacular view of the seaside stretching out to the horizon and the beautiful ocean dyed orange by the sunrise.Moreover, it was very reasonably priced and all my friends were very satisfied.For better or worse, there are no shops nearby. (Laughs) Later, my husband, who had just quit his job to open a business this year, was said to have a limited cooking repertoire, but when he put the bonito sashimi and tataki on the plate, he added more seasonings, and added daikon tsuma. If you use Japanese ginger, perilla ginger, and garlic to suit the dish, it will give it a luxurious feel, will look better, and above all, you will be able to enjoy fresh ingredients even more deliciously. I want to use it for touring on a motorcycle as a revenge.
