A modern ryokan that is worth the detour. The service is impeccable despite the language barrier, the rooms are magnificent and the food is divine! The baths are also modern and include all possible products and accessories. From the baths you can enjoy a superb view of the entire valley.

I used it last year, and this time was also great. This is an inn I would like to stay at at least once a year.

It was a very good inn. The taste of the food is elegant and there is a large selection of items. What I was most happy about was the extensive alcohol menu. This is rare in hot spring areas. The service provided by the staff was also good, and the proprietress, whom I spoke to for a bit on the way home, was cheerful and friendly. It was an inn that I would like to visit again. Bessho Onsen is a nice hot spring town with a sense of history, located on a slightly higher ground overlooking Ueda city. The quality of the spring water is slightly alkaline and it was smooth after bathing.

We had a wonderful time. The kaiseki cuisine was so particular about each individual dish that it was a shame that the meal was over. The private open-air bath was so hot that children were not allowed in it.What left a deep impression on me was that the landlady came to my room to greet me during the meal. When I left, I thanked them deeply and asked them to take care, and they came outside to see me off.I have an image of being quite disappointed when I go home.At this ryokan, we were treated to hospitality until the very end, and it was a very pleasant trip.

The reservation site was full during the Obon period, so I contacted the inn directly, and they gladly accepted it. I got it. …

Bessho Onsen, which is called the Kamakura of Shinshu, is a very nice place with old temples and a lush basin, and I think the best hot spring inn is Nanakusa no Yu, which is located in the center.I took the plunge and stayed in a room with a private hot spring and open-air bath, and I couldn't really complain about the view from the room (you can see all the way to Ueda city), the room facilities, and the hot spring's faint sulfur smell.Dinner is served in your room, but it is visually appealing as it uses seasonal ingredients from Shinshu. And the luxury of pairing it with Shinshu sake can't even be called naan.Ueda is a short distance from Tokyo by Shinkansen, and Bessho Onsen has good transportation links, so I think it's easy to visit.

The building was new and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Dinner was a delicious and hearty kaiseki meal. The hot springs are also pleasant, and since the inn is located on a hill, you can see the scenery of Bessho Onsen and the cityscape of Ueda in the distance.
