The food and hot water are great and the prices are cheap! The carp sweet stew is huge. It is a dish that uses seasonal ingredients and is light and elegant without sacrificing the texture or original taste of the ingredients. There are no convenience stores or souvenirs in the area, and it's very quiet, so it's a hideaway for people who just want to take a relaxing soak in the hot springs and do nothing. The open air is probably not heated, so it may be too cold to enter in winter. They will keep the futon for you during dinner, but it might be a bit painful if you only use the futon. I looked in the closet and found some extra, so I took it out and added some extra.

I stayed here for one night during Silver Week.As soon as we arrived, we met a kitten at the front door. The guest room that the host led me through was much larger than I expected and was very clean and I was impressed. The cookies in the room were simple and very delicious. The large public bath has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, so you can take a bath on your own even during the holidays! The water is lukewarm, so you can soak in it as long as you like. This hot spring is drinkable and fresh, with a slight sulfur smell.A cat visits in the open-air bath, making it a heavenly experience. Anyway, it's the best. There is also a private bath, which you can use at any time if you have the key at the front desk. The private bath is only an indoor bath, but the cypress bath has a nice scent. The hot water here was gushing out and felt great.I was surprised at the size of the candied carp I had for dinner at Machikane. It was sweet and spicy and very delicious. It was my first time to eat carp aura and mouse feet (the names of mushrooms), and they were very delicious. It was a perfect meal, and the rice that came out towards the end was sweet, fluffy, and extremely delicious, but I couldn't eat much of it, and I regret that I should have had it served first. .The final delicious homemade ice cream...!Anyway, time passed slowly and quietly, and it was a space that felt like a healing mass. This is an inn that I would definitely like to stay at again.

The first time I went to a hot spring for a day trip was in 2019, and even then there were lots of cats outside and they were cute and I was very satisfied as I love cats. Then I really wanted to go to Zutto, but it's a long way from Nagano city, so it's been a while, but unfortunately it was raining the second time I went there a little while ago, but I saw some cats there. chan met me outside, and even after I entered the hot spring, there was a friendly girl 🐱, who did a good job of holding a sign 🐱.The hot spring ♨️ was lukewarm, but it has been a hot day lately so I was able to warm up slowly. The changing room and bathroom were also very clean 😊👍

It was a heartwarming stay. For dinner, we had carp stew, sashimi, and wild vegetable tempura.Breakfast includes fried eggs and salmon. The white rice was so delicious that I ate too much. Guests can enter the nearby communal hot spring for 100 yen.
