Me and my husband stayed here for one night in a room of the class "Traditional room (Japanese style with private toilet). This was the first time we slept on traditional futon mattresses and it was not comfortable at all. We were completely sore when we woke up. The staff was very nice and the area around the accommodation very beautiful with its majestic nature.

This was the first inn I stayed at when I went on a trip to collect goshuin stamps in the sacred place of the Koyasan Shingon sect.As it is a component of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range," there is a certificate of recognition in the main hall, and in the garden there is a pagoda built by Minamoto no Yoritomo's wife, Masako Hojo. There is Tahoto, which is also a national treasure. The guest room has a 10 tatami mat toilet and washroom.TV and air conditioner available. Wi-Fi available.Inner key only. The bath is heated. The bathtub is big enough for about 5 people to bathe at the same time.We ate both morning and evening meals in the large hall with other guests.Of course vegetarian cuisine. The Koya tofu eaten in Mt. Koya is definitely delicious. The breakfast [Ganmodoki] is full of flavor and delicious.Free refills of rice.It was quiet at night, and I went to bed early for the first time in years, and I slept soundly.I participated in the morning service and the pleasant sutras gave me peace of mind.I was scared when I heard that it was a lodging house, but I think it's refreshing and different from a business hotel that I'll get hooked on it.By the way, when I was checking in, the lady in charge suddenly asked me in the middle of an explanation, ``Do you understand Japanese? ” and I got irritated.Ah, I read on another review site that the customer service was not good, so I thought, ``I see,'' but I wonder how many people there were.

I went there to pray for the anniversary of my grandmother's death, but the waiting room was full of horseflies and all four of my family members were bitten, and when I told them about it, they didn't do anything about it.The hallway was also full of flies, and even though there were sparrow bees flying around inside, we left them alone. In particular, the monk came an hour later than scheduled, did not apologize, and fell asleep during the sutra, and was mistaken about the age of death. At that time, no matter how frustrating and painful it was, I stopped worshiping my grandmother and thought that if I caused trouble, my grandmother and family would be sad, so I tried to bear it and concentrated on worshiping, but I couldn't help but feel so painful, frustrated, sad, and helpless. is.I am writing this here so that there will be fewer people who feel this way.

You can walk from the Kongobuji-mae parking lot,The road in front of the entrance? There are lines drawn in the empty spaces, and a total of 8 vehicles can be parked. However, the road along the way is hilly and narrow, so it may be difficult to approach by car.

It's probably a little uphill from downtown Koya. A quiet space where only the sounds of birds can be heard. It was very soothing!I guess it's a bit of a hillside from downtown Takano. It's a quiet space where you can only hear the sounds of birds. It really healed me!
