First of all, there are no shower facilities. Even if you don't have one, there are no hot springs or public baths within walking distance.Bungalows have a lot of moths coming in through the cracks, well, it can't be helped because it's in nature, but I've used bungalows at other campgrounds and they didn't get in that much. There are too many warnings such as extra charges for installing turf, toilet lids, etc., and warnings not to eat or drink near the table behind the kettle. What surprised me the most was the garbage disposal.Other campgrounds also charge a fee for collection, but it costs around 200 to 300 yen, but here it costs 600 yen.As expected, the lack of shower facilities is the worst.

There are not many people so you can camp without worrying about your surroundings.

I used the tent site on May 3rd.I was told that they were not taking reservations, so I was told that reservations would be accepted from 12:00 to 14:00 on a first-come, first-served basis. Many of the sites are on a slight slope, and there are logs and trees scattered about, so I felt it was a little difficult to set up the tent ⛺️The cost varies depending on the size of the tent, 2 x 2 680 yen, 4 x 4 1280 yen, and more than 1860 yen.The customer base is cheap, and the manager is away from 4:00 pm, so it seemed like there were a lot of campers who didn't have proper camping etiquette, making loud noises even after 10:00 pm. It seems like there are a lot of people with children.Although the cost can be kept low, the customer base is delicate and the staff are very accommodating, so some people may feel uncomfortable.

Visited in late September 2023. The location is perfect. It was a small tent for solo camping, so it cost 630 yen. It was an unusual accounting system where you checked in at 3:00 PM (actually until 2:00 PM), and when you set up your tent, you called out to them and paid the fee according to the size of your tent. I think there were about 8 other groups besides me. It seems like you can't make a reservation and it's first come, first served, but I think everyone enjoyed camping in their favorite places. I went to a nearby hot spring (Bingushi Yusankan). The restrooms are clean but located away from the site. I think I will go again.

equipmentThe use of the restrooms is limited depending on the number of customers.Logs, etc. are scattered on the road in front of the toilet. The site is poorly demarcated. The grass is still growing.correspondenceTelephone support is not bad, but they often don't answer the phone.I'm not used to explanations. It varies depending on the person. For some reason I have to show my driver's license.FeeAfter checking in, you call the staff and use a ruler to measure the setting after setting up, but as far as I know, I have never heard of or seen it at other campgrounds. Moreover, check-in time is only 2 hours due to the measuring stick. I've never heard of this either. The biggest problem is the mysterious setting where the price doubles when you make a reservation. Even if there was a campsite with a year-long reservation waiting list, this would never happen. This is also my first time hearing this. It's strange that if you go without a reservation, you'll be charged the regular price. When I made a separate reservation with four friends, I was told to pitch four tents in one plot. However, the price is only for one tent, so there is no benefit to the customer.Parking on the premises requires an additional fee.accessThere's nothing around, no people, no animals, and at night it's noisy with the loud noises of runners.comprehensiveI don't recommend it. Depending on how you respond, you may feel sick. I don't want to give even one star.I don't feel motivated by the management company. Although it is a designated private contractor, the city needs a little more guidance. It's a great campsite, so I hope you do your best...It's a campsite for experts, so if you really want to go, you might want to try it out.

The administration building is beautiful. There are many notes written. Even during business hours, it will be locked when the administrator leaves. I went to use the restroom, but was instructed to use the outside restroom. It seemed very cold. If it's so difficult to manage, wouldn't it be better to hire someone else?Regarding the most important management situation, the campsite on the premises was not well maintained and the grass was allowed to grow freely. The area between the site and the pond is also unmaintained, with no-trespassing tape posted everywhere. The crime scene? It would be much more attractive if you could see the water surface, but it's a waste. There is also an athletic building, but it too has not been maintained and is in disrepair. What do managers usually do?Chikuma City should show this original condition to city hall employees who are well versed in outdoor activities and make improvements.
