I came here about 4 or 5 years ago in September. At the time, I lived in Kansai and was planning to climb the Northern Alps with a friend from Tokyo, but we had to give up due to the approach of a low pressure system. If it's sunny on the Noto Peninsula, which is the only place in the country, we decided to go camping in Noto, so we met up in Kanazawa, and after completing some sightseeing, we headed to Notoji. Along the way, we explored camping sites along the Satoyama Kaido road, and this was the only campsite we were able to reserve. Enjoy the aquarium, coastal roads, hot springs, shop in Wajima, and visit this site. The lawn is neatly mowed and the restrooms are clean. Best of all, there were no other customers! I enjoyed the best camping experience of my life while watching the sunset over the Sea of Japan. We were having so much fun that the No. 4 bottle of Ichiro's Malt we bought at a liquor store in Wajima was empty! The next day, with a hangover, I went to Wajima Asaichi for miso soup and headed home.Camping at this place while watching the dynamic sunset, looking up at the stars, and basking in the cool sea breeze is so amazing that it will be a memory that will last a lifetime. It was an episode that comes to mind every time the name of Noto comes up on the news.

At the campsite in front of Minazuki Youth Travel Village, which is no longer open. It's a quiet place. Even during Golden Week, many people go camping. There wasn't. Please note that this place basically requires reservations.Yes, you can find the phone by searching, and there is a permanent toilet. There are toilets, but they are no longer usable this year, and there are no portable toilets. It was installed.

There is a fee for parking at the parking lot with a toilet at the entrance to the campground.I can't believe it 😱There's a campground parking lot in the back. There's no point in paying to go sightseeing on the seashore.

First visit to the campsite on May 7, 2021.Perhaps due to the influence of the coronavirus, I called the town hall to make a reservation and visited on Friday, but surprisingly I was the only person using the facility. It was in a reserved state.

I got here in the off season (November 2), and there was nobody around. A sign says the caretaker comes by at 4PM to collect fees, but it is unclear if that happens in the off season, and I arrived later than 4PM anyway. There is a usable bathroom with running water and squat toilets, but the electricity was turned off, so I used a flashlight. The camping area itself is quite large, but some of the soil has been mangled up, perhaps by animals. There are two covered areas, one with some benches and the other with sinks for running water. The parking lot is large. The campground itself is on the side of a large hill overlooking the ocean, so expect strong winds. There's a small quiet village nearby, but I didn't see any open shops. Bring everything you need with you. Tent camping only; no RV facilities.
