The hot springs are directly fed by the source and are lukewarm, so you can soak in them slowly. The price is reasonable as it comes with two meals. You'll also appreciate the futon bedding service and in-room meals.

I learned about them from the drama ``Nihon Boro Yado Kikou'' and have been indebted to them many times since then.Park your car in front of the hotel (you can move your car later)The quiet and kind husband and the landlady, who looks like a turban shell, will welcome you.The building is older than the Showa era, and is it due to additional construction? It's interesting that it's like a labyrinth, and although it's a bit painful in some places, it's well kept and very comfortable. The view from the window is very atmospheric, with the magnificent pine trees clearly visible. The amenities are minimal, such as a yukata, towels, toothbrush, tea, and snacks. The tea is served in a Showa-style thermos flask with hot water, and I'm glad that the tea is freshly replaced in the morning. And, it has air conditioning! There is also a kotatsu in winter! The bath is of course a hot spring, and the lukewarm water with a slight sulfur scent allows you to stay in it for as long as you want. The bathhouse has a body saw and conditioner shampoo.Meals are served in the room for up to 2 people. More information in the large hall. There is a huge variety of items, and they are all delicious with good seasoning! I end up eating too much both in the morning and in the evening ^_^Mr. Nakai is also charming ^_^ He always brings sweets and souvenirs ^_^Outside, while walking through the hot spring town of Togura Kamiyamada (lined with neon lights and shops that still retain the good old Showa era, such as snacks), I shot some shots, had a drink, and gazed at Togura Kamiyamada ♨️, which shines mysteriously on top of the mountain. You will feel as if you have traveled back in time.

This hot spring inn was used in the filming of the TV drama "Japan's Ruined Inn Travelogue."This is my second time staying here because I like this drama and I can bring my dog with me.The exterior looks like a very dignified, long-established hot spring inn. There is a parking lot behind the inn, but it may be a little difficult to park. The inside of the hotel is full of elegance, and the small stone-paved hallways will make you feel like you're traveling. There are photos from the filming of the drama and haiku that appeared in the drama, making it irresistible to fans. There is also a table tennis field in the basement. This inn has an intense atmosphere that only time can create.Last time, I stayed in a large room on the second floor and had meals served in my room. This time, for the second time, we had booked 2 groups of 5 people and 2 dogs, so the sound of the pond was a little bothersome in the small room on the 1st floor, but we all ate together in the banquet hall on the 2nd floor, including the dogs. I was able to eat and enjoy the meal. The contents of the meal were also delicious. The elderly Mr. Nakai was kind and made the atmosphere very relaxing. There is also a Tokura hot spring town outside where you can enjoy a walk. The facilities are old, but I love the atmosphere. The hot springs are lukewarm in winter, and the open-air baths are too cold to enter.

Reservations can be made on Jalan, and PayPay can be used. The hot springs are open 24 hours a day, so I went in the morning and evening.Because the water is flowing directly from the water, the temperature in the open-air bath will be slightly lower. The toilet and washroom are not located in the room but are shared. The whole place is old and showing signs of deterioration, but if you consider that as part of its charm, it's comfortable. There is a parking lot at the back of the hotel, but it may not be obvious at first glance, so it is best to call to confirm. The landlady is cheerful, so I hope it will cheer you up too.

I made a reservation because the price was low even though it was the fall foliage season, and I had points. …
