A total of 4 people, 2 adults and 2 elementary school students, stayed with us for 2 nights and 3 days.It was the first day of opening as a new facility after renovation. It seemed like there was a lot of excitement as it was the first day of opening, and there were some things that were lacking, but I've made sure to let you know, so I think things will improve in the future.Although it was a smaller cottage, I was able to sleep comfortably with two people on the bed and one person on the futon in the bedroom, and one person on the sofa bed in the living room. The toilet has a new washlet. The bath is large and the water pressure in the shower is sufficient. There are 8 buildings, but buildings 5 to 8 are on the sea side. You can see the countryside and the sea from the sea-side windows. It would have been great if there was a window and a wooden deck facing the sea. There is an empty space in the middle of the premises, but since it would be a waste, I thought it would be nice to use the shared space for BBQ, where I could buy local seafood and grill it.There are no restaurants within walking distance. There was a drink vending machine at the entrance of the cottage.Sado has many tourist facilities in the west, so I was glad that I was able to plan my trip to various places starting from the cottage.Since I came all the way to Sado, I wanted to show my children the beautiful sea, so I went to the nearby beaches that are accessible from the cottage, so I will write down the information below.Shizume Sunset Park: 15 minutes by car from the cottage. You can observe fish using box glasses or a snorkel. There were many people snorkeling wearing wet suits. There is a parking lot, but there are no toilets or running water. Marine shoes are required as it is a rocky area. Life jackets too. Not recommended for preschoolers.Tatsusha Beach: 20 minutes by car from the cottage. This is a sandy beach with toilets and showers, so preschoolers and older children are welcome. I don't think marine shoes are necessary, but I think it's good to have them. The bay is calm due to the breakwater, so if you are in the upper grades of elementary school, I think you can enjoy SUP. There was a SUP rental facility.Nanaura Coast: 4 minutes by car from the cottage. This is a scenic spot and rocky area, so it didn't feel like children could play there.Sawada Beach: 20 minutes by car from the cottage. It was a spacious, sandy beach. There are also toilets and showers, so preschoolers and older children are welcome. The above information is not directly related to the cottage, but I hope it will be helpful as information.Eating at the hotel is good, but I think it is recommended for those who want to enjoy sightseeing and leisure while staying in a cottage without meals, and who want to enjoy local restaurants and ingredients. The owner and staff are both young people, so I gave them 4 stars with my expectations for the future.
