The campground facilities themselves are not as good as modern high-quality campgrounds, but they are clean and tidy. I think it's well managed, even considering the fact that it's winter and there aren't many customers. I would give it 5 stars considering that it was a Kanagawa prefecture resident discount and had a lot of benefits and was very cheap. The disadvantage of the Tanzawako-mae site is that the kitchen is far away and the climb up the hill is difficult. Also, there were no lights at the assigned water hole at night, so I wish they would have turned them on. Some campgrounds are so busy trying to fill spots that they don't even look at the guests, but I was impressed by the management, from making reservations over the phone to providing hospitality during my stay. Surrounded by mountains and lakes, it's sunny, has hot springs, and a roadside station with lots of delicious food, so it's attractive that it's close to my home. I will go again.

It was quiet and the owner was kind and polite. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the late entry at 3pm.The person at the site above gets off the site to go to the toilet instead of using the road.If it wasn't for that, it would have been 5 stars. But I think I'll go again ^_^A campsite where you can spend a quiet time at Lake Tanzawa is precious.

A campsite with a calm atmosphere.Suitable for solo or small group camping. The manager has a good atmosphere and is well managed.I used a base camp to launch my kayak, but although you cannot launch a boat directly from the campsite, you can launch a boat from the nearby boat launch.Lake Tanzawa is likely to be used more for SUP activities in the future, so it might be a good base for waterside activities. It was a happy miscalculation that the stars were better visible than I expected considering it was so close to the city center. The only drawback is that the price is a little high, and if you go solo camping, it's easier to go if it's about 500 to 1000 yen cheaper per night, but I guess it's a trade-off for the quality of management.

I used it for the first time at a barbecue. The owner was very kind. The usage fee is low, and above all, I was drawn to the owner's kind personality, which left a good impression on me. I wanted to come again.

I have been visiting Lake Tanzawa for a long time at ``Buna no Yu'' and SUP. Therefore, I have known about its existence for a long time! I used the Tomei Expressway Oi Matsuda or the recently built Ashigara Smart Interchange as it was a short drive from Yaga Station via Route 246. The bus stop is also nearby, so it can be used as a base camp for mountain climbing. In my case, I used it for solo camping.✩The toilets and water area are in very clean condition (be sure to clean up after using them!). ✩A sleeping bag plus mat is sufficient for both tent sites and sleeping on the grass at night. ✩At night, it leaves a minimum amount of light, so you can rest assured. ✩The manager is close to the site, so you don't have to worry about unauthorized people coming in and out at night, which is common at campgrounds.
