My girlfriend and I stayed one night on our bike ride up Nakasendo. The house exudes historical dignity. The furnishings always set deeply human accents that reflect the hospitality that is practiced. There are not many rooms in this house in this secluded area, so they receive very attentive service. As cyclists, our journeys to accommodation are often strenuous. In this house you had the feeling that you could experience the hospitality of the historic Nakasendo. Here we couldn't just satisfy our needs. The hosts offered us a place to cultivate ourselves: in the quiet of the rooms and with excellent food. Thank you for that. An absolute recommendation on the Nakasendo.

This is a very convenient inn for walking Nakasendo. It's about 20km from Oi-juku and Ota-juku, so although there are mountain roads along the way, I think it's a good place to walk slowly. This time I went by bicycle, but there were no other suitable inns on this road, and the 40km journey from Ena to Ota over a mountain pass seemed a bit difficult for me at my Cintara pace, so I decided to stay at this inn.It didn't feel like a particularly high-quality building, nor did it feel particularly old, but to be frank, it had an odd feel to it. That's no wonder, since most of the customers are foreigners. I guess he was Australian, and he didn't hesitate to make loud noises even at night. If you're expecting a quaint Nakasendo inn, you might be disappointed. The food is delivered from the kitchen in the order it is prepared, so you can enjoy freshly prepared, hot food made with local ingredients. The host was also very kind and polite.

In front of Daikokuya, I asked the person who got out of the car, "Does it look like something?"I was asked, but who is this person? I wonder if it's from Daikokuya, and if so, it's "Daikokuya"! I want you to say that!
