Head to Shima Onsen, one of Gunma's three major hot springs. It was a good value for money inn, and I liked that it was compact and only accommodated a maximum of 8 groups. When I arrived, someone from the inn was there and guided me to the parking lot. There seemed to be only three groups staying that night, and we didn't meet each other outside of the restaurant.Since it's a hot spring town, we strolled around until dinner time. The townscape is old, and I was told that there were some souvenir shops, but most of them were closed and I couldn't help but feel desolate. We were both thirsty after walking for an hour, so we both opened a bottle of beer in the room. There are no vending machines at the inn. There are no convenience stores nearby, so it would have been better to buy some. There is a charge for the refrigerator. Beverages with meals are also charged separately and must be paid at check-out.I had the option of Joshu beef teppanyaki for dinner, but the solid fuel was small and ran out midway through, so I had to ask for more. I think you should think about fuel. The thing I wanted to eat the most came last and I was too full to eat it all.I don't need udon. It would have been nice to be able to replace the pot with an option. You can eat a small amount of rice at night. On the contrary, I didn't have enough mornings. Also, this is the first time I don't have a greeting card.As expected, I went to bed that day with a full stomach and lack of sleep.I went to the open-air bath at 6am the next morning. The lights were off and it was dark all the way to the entrance, making me unsteady on my feet. I needed some light in the morning too.2 showers. There is shampoo and body soap. It feels open and comfortable. The water is fed directly from the source, so the temperature is a little high at around 42.5℃. It is said that the temperature is reduced by adding water only in the summer. There is a sulfur smell. Nice hot water that makes your skin squeaky. The breakfast was overall bland but delicious.Cards can be used at the time of payment.

Since there was only one other customer, we were able to use the private bath as much as we wanted, and the food was well-cooked with local ingredients, so we were very satisfied.

We stayed with 3 adults and 2 children and took care of them. As for the food, both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the rice stood out and was shiny. Since it was local Koshihikari, I bought it at the roadside station on the way home. Although it is not shown in the image, after dinner, beef stew wrapped in a pie was also served. The food and the bath were both wonderful and very relaxing.

It was a nice place to stay and relax. Both the indoor and outdoor baths were elegant, clean, and relaxing. The refrigerator had been stocked with drinks since the beginning, and it was a grab-and-go type, but there was a liquor store nearby. Downtown? You can take a walk to

I have been using this inn for a long time and it is my favorite inn. However, this time, there was no hot water in the open-air bath from night to morning. It was my first time to experience something like this. There may have been a problem, but the open-air bath here is the best, so please manage it so that it can be used 24 hours a day like before.

I was satisfied with both the customer service and the food. I used it to celebrate my parents' 60th birthday, and I would like to come again. There are reviews saying that the room smells like mold and has stains, but if you say that, you won't be able to go anywhere. It was a good memory.
