Absolutely terrific place to visit when you go to Sado Island. This is an old house which has been renovated beautifully. It is very very big with a lot of necessary amenities. The proprietor is a lovely woman and very hospitable and kind. Definitely worth staying if you visit the island.

It was an old private house from about 100 years ago, and it was a wonderful and quaint inn! It's an exciting building just to look around the rooms themselves. It's very spacious, and the living room is a common space for guests, with a hearth and dirt floor, so you can even have a barbecue indoors even in the rain. There is a large parking space, so it seems best to go by car, but even if you don't have a car, some people have had them pick you up at the nearest bus stop, so it might be a good idea to ask the host. The host of the inn gave us a very warm welcome! It was also fun interacting with other guests. The bath and toilet seem to have been newly renovated and are very clean and comfortable. Shampoo and soap are provided, but there are no amenities such as toothbrushes, cosmetics, or room wear such as yukata, so if you need them, it is better to bring them. We also offer overnight stays, so if you would like to request meals, it is best to check when booking your accommodation. There were so many cats and I was able to interact with them, which was soothing. The cat's house is in a separate area, and it seems that the cat does not enter the accommodation itself. The surrounding area is littered with fields and private houses, and at night, if the weather is good, the sky is full of stars. There were supermarkets, convenience stores, and day-trip hot springs within a 10-minute drive, so I didn't have any problems.I was very satisfied with the warm experience that only a private lodging can provide. It was the kind of inn I would definitely want to visit again.

We spent 3 nights at Erina's place and had a wonderful time. The house is a big beautiful old traditional house, except for the sparkling new modern bathroom. There's a professional kitchen you can use freely, and if you're lazy Erina is a fantastic cook. She was great at always making us feel welcome and comfortable. As a bonus, the kitties are adorable and super cuddly. Make sure to visit them in their shed!
