Sakushima-kan

It was right in front of me when I disembarked from the ship from Isshiki Port at Higashi Port of Sakushima.The view from the guest room on the third floor was very good, with a clear view of the port below and the Chita Peninsula, Himakajima, and Shinoshima in the distance.It was cold inside and I thought the air conditioner wasn't working, but I was surprised to find that the window was open. Apparently they forgot to close the window when cleaning.The bathtub was a little large for one person to take a bath in.The water was less than half full, so I went in lying down trying to soak it in. This was also an interesting first experience for me.The sashimi was fresh and very delicious.Unfortunately, there was no explanation of the food served, so I'm not sure what I ate.However, the tempura and boiled fish had been cooked for a long time, and the tempura and boiled fish had cooled down, so they did not taste as good. If it were to be called a ryokan rather than a guesthouse, I would have liked to see warm, freshly prepared food served in a timely manner.I was looking forward to eating the famous large clams, but unfortunately they didn't come out. It's still a little early for this season, and it seems like they won't be harvested until April. However, the guidebook states that the season is from mid-March to June, but this also ended in disappointing results.The large proprietress and the beautiful young proprietress were all very kind. I felt saved by that smile.

The food served was more delicious than I expected!

You can store your large luggage before and after your stay at the inn, the food is excellent, you can go fishing right from the inn, you can see the ocean clearly from your room, you wake up in the morning to the sound of the waves, the landlady is a nice person, etc. There were so many great places! ! I went there 5 years ago.The food was delicious and I could hear the sound of the waves at night and relax.Since I didn't have any alcohol, I bought a lot of beer from a nearby vending machine!
