I stay here every year when I come to the beach. The beach is just a short walk away. The food is delicious, and I'm very grateful that I can borrow a washing machine.

It is located about 5 minutes walk from Sakushima Higashi Port. It is a light blue building right next to Oura Beach.Even though it was before check-in time, they had a room ready for us right away, we were able to leave our luggage there, and they even lent us a bicycle for free so we could get around the island.Even though I ordered the standard 1 night and 2 day stay, the dinner included crab, boiled octopus, assorted sashimi, boiled fish, fried puffer fish, and miso stewed oysters...the dinner was so wonderful that I can't even begin to write about it. We were prepared at a private table in the Japanese-style room on the first floor.The room is a spacious 10 tatami Japanese-style room on the second floor. You can see the sea from the windows on two sides. The sunset from the window was beautiful in late November. Coffee, sugar, cream, sweets, and tea are available. I ended up drinking a lot, but the futon was laid out during dinner, so I guess he refilled the pot at that time.There is no toilet, bathroom, or refrigerator in the room, but there is a shared toilet and refrigerator in the hallway that you can use freely. There are also some comics in the hallway.The bathroom on the first floor is compact with three washing areas. It's good enough considering the price. There is also a hair dryer. There are no bath towels, but there are plenty of towels in the bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and body soap are provided.There are medicines, tissues, and mosquito coils in visible places so that you can easily reach the itchy areas.There was a shower with well water near where the bicycle was kept, so I was able to wash off the mud. I guess you can use it after swimming at the beach in the summer. There was also a washing machine and detergent.They kept my luggage with me even after I checked out, let me use the shared refrigerator on the second floor, and even gave me my bicycle just like yesterday. We left Sakushima by boat at 12:30, but it was a full day.Thank you very much. It's a good accommodation.

They were very kind, lending me their bicycles, and calling me to pick up some takeout places before boarding. Also, I had given up on the travel discount because it wasn't listed on the website, but the kit happened to arrive in time and I was able to apply for it.The food is really delicious and fresh, and the portions are plentiful! There aren't many guesthouses in Japan that serve boiled octopus and whole crabs.I regret that I couldn't eat all the octopus. . . The room, toilet, and bath are all clean! Recommended.
