I couldn't forget the deliciousness of the breakfast and kept coming back. I especially like the chirimen sansho pepper. I love the unique wooden scent that reminds me of my grandparents' house in the countryside. I would like to use it again to enjoy this atmosphere. I also really appreciate the private bath.

The other day, I visited her on the first day of her trip to Saitama with her boyfriend.It was my first trip to Saitama, and my boyfriend and I had looked for an inn to stay in, so we were really looking forward to it even before we went.When we arrived at the inn, the manager gave us an explanation of the room and the inn as a whole, and after passing through the room once, we were shown around the inside of the inn. The inside of the building was very quiet, and there were beautiful carvings and stained glass-like decorations on the doors that really caught my eye☺️Because the inn is located a little off the main road, it's hard to hear the sounds of cars and crowds, and the sound of crickets chirping from outside was so soothing that I found myself dozing off in a comfortable room.There are two baths, and I got a glimpse of both when no one was in them, but both were spacious enough that I was happy to be able to use them with my boyfriend ☺️Hiyoshi-san has heard that the food is very delicious, and the breakfast was exquisite! September's new rice, egg yolk pickled in miso, maitake mushroom soup, homemade tofu, etc. were all wonderful! It makes me want to eat it every day 🫶The manager also seems to run a restaurant, and when I told him that I didn't have dinner set in mind, he recommended a restaurant called ``HIMIDORI''! It was a different dish from Hiyoshi's meal, and it was also very nice!Some of the reviews seemed to be unkind towards the manager's response and way of speaking, but I didn't feel any coldness from the manager at all. On the reservation site, it says, ``Please let us know even roughly what time you plan to arrive,'' and even when we had to contact them at the last minute, they were very kind and accommodating. From beginning to end, they explained and guided us very carefully, and we occasionally talked with them with smiles☺️I had some wonderful memories during the first night of my first trip to Saitama! My first trip to Chichibu by train. At my husband's request, Mr. Hiyoshi took care of me. I canceled once due to a typhoon, but I decided I really wanted to go, so I rescheduled the reservation.The owner was very kind in explaining the inside of the building, and was also very impressed with the preparation of the meals. When I looked at the reviews, some people posted comments that gave the impression that the hotel was not very pleasant, but I didn't have that impression at all and I had a relaxing time.There is a mountain behind the inn, so it's natural for insects to be around, and the fact that it's quiet and a little noisy is one of the good things about the inn, which continues to be renovated.I would like to take care of you again when I visit Chichibu.

There were cockroaches, but the owner (a man with glasses) didn't take care of them, and in the end I was warned to be quiet because there were other people around, which was unpleasant. The walls in the room are thin, so you can't turn up the voice volume or the TV volume. The inn was located about a 10 minute walk from Seibu Chichibu Station and had a very nice atmosphere.I thought it would be a good idea to bring luggage that I could carry up the stairs with my hands, as rolling my suitcase around the hotel would damage the floor.The room had a very nice atmosphere and I stayed in a relaxing Japanese-style room.The facilities in the room include a TV, hangers, towel drying, recess, air purifier, water heater, hair dryer, refrigerator, dressing table, octopus socket (USB compatible), etc., making it easy to use.I was impressed with how well they took measures against the coronavirus. You can stay very comfortably.The lighting design was also nice.The powder room (divided into 3 parts, the two at the ends have paper cups, chairs, trash cans, etc.), the baths (two private baths) and the toilets (separate for men and women) are located off the hallway and can be used at any time. It was good. Although it wasn't a hot spring, the water was constantly flowing so it had a calming atmosphere similar to a hot spring.It didn't feel like there were a lot of bugs like some reviews said, and it was clean (I think it depends on the time of year). The toilet was fully functional with a TOTO heated toilet seat.Best of all was the food. The tofu I had for breakfast was the first time I had eaten something so delicious, both in texture and taste. I was impressed that they provided coffee in addition to the dessert. The attention to detail from the restaurant staff was wonderful.What I felt was important when staying here was checking in advance to avoid mismatches. You should carefully read the reviews and details on the reservation site from top to bottom before making a reservation.What I regret that I should have checked more about is the business hours. I stayed for several nights, but I was not allowed to stay at the inn between 12:00 and 15:00 as it is outside business hours. I came with the intention of staying at the inn all day without checking, so I regret that I should have checked in advance by phone. Please note that there is cleaning from 10:00 to 12:00, so if you want to stay in your room during that time, you will not be able to receive cleaning. However, Chichibu has many tourist spots, so I thought it would be nice to be able to enjoy going outside. You will first receive an explanation from the owner, but I think it's best to ask questions and clarify things you don't fully understand.Also, as stated on the website and reviews, the noise is particularly likely to echo into neighboring rooms at night, so I felt the importance of mutual consideration and good manners.Overall it was a good stay. An inn recommended for digital detox. I had a relaxing time even though I was traveling alone.It's about a 10 minute walk from Chichibu Station, but it's close to the mountains. I checked in around 6pm on a weekday. Nice from the lobby. Unlike Hakone and other places, there may not be many people in Chichibu unless there is an event. This inn seems to have only 7 rooms. I like small inns, so this was my choice. It's calming and relaxing.The host will guide you around the building. The room was very nice and there were hydrangeas blooming outside even though it was mid-July. You can hear the chirping of insects and birds until around 7pm and from 4am. There are 2 private baths that you can use freely. The toilet was shared, not in my room. Towels are provided, but no cleansing or lotion, so bring your own. There is a small non-alcoholic vending machine inside the building. Convenience store is about 5 minutes walk. You can go out until 9pm. When I left at 8pm, the sky was still bright and I could see a few stars. The air conditioner works, there's an air purifier, and the pods are filled with water. The hair dryer in the room was a Dyson. The shared wash basin seems to resemble a spaceship. There was a sink in the private bath, so I only used it to brush my teeth.Breakfast was early, starting at 7:30. I got an extension around 7:20 and ate slowly. I'm sorry that I couldn't eat all the food because I was a small eater.As I walked around it, it reminded me of summer vacations in the countryside back in Japan. I want to come back and read some books again. There are monkeys in Hitsujiyama Park in the back, so be careful when walking. thank you for helping me.

A short walk from the station, very friendly owner who has prepared food and attractions recommendations!The rooms are comfortable and I love the Dyson hair dryer too.It's just 5 min from a family mart.My only gripe is that I had to wait until 11PM for the bathroom to open, as other guests were spending over an hour in the bathroom 😫

It was my first visit in 2 years, and the washroom and changing area in the bathroom had been renovated in white and looked clean.You can go on a pilgrimage to anime holy sites using Kochinora no Yado as your base.One night is enough for a pilgrimage on a motorbike, but two nights is enough for a pilgrimage to a sacred place on foot or by bicycle.
