I was able to stay cheaply by booking on the same day, but I can't say that the cleanliness was perfect. Like an old apartment. If you imagine a normal hotel, you will be in trouble.I feel like it's a shame since the front desk staff is very responsive. If you like cleanliness, it is better to avoid it.

The musty smell is terrible. Even exchanging the air doesn't work. It's not to the point where I'm concerned or not.If you look closely from outside, you can see that the ventilation holes under the floor are still clogged with dead grass and garbage, so it's probably because the floor has flooded due to rain and hasn't been cleaned up since then. The basics are too low to begin with. What's under the floor...I don't want to imagine it.In addition to the high humidity of the land, the foundation of the house is lower than the surrounding area because it is next to a river, and there is insufficient drainage in the surrounding area, resulting in the collection of moisture and rainwater.Humidity invites mold and dust mites, which is bad for your health, so you should think carefully about where you stay in Gotemba Kogen.

The exterior looks like an apartment building that was built about 20 years ago, but the interior, except for the plumbing, is relatively new. However, the cleaning was not done properly and there was dirt and dust on the window bars. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, there is a smell coming from the water area, which may be quite unpleasant for sensitive people.I stayed on the first floor, but I could hear laughter and footsteps from people on the second floor. The smell may not bother you once you get used to it.You won't notice that the windows are dirty unless you look at the sills. It may be good for people who don't mind footsteps or voices. It's close to a bath called Ringo no Yu. Close to the gym. I haven't been to either though.
