Although the campsite is along the river, swimming is prohibited in the river in front of it.There are two campsites: the riverbed and the grassy area next to the parking lot. No reservation required.Bonfires are OK in both cases, but open fires are prohibited🚫In particular, in grassy areas, measures need to be taken to prevent the grass underneath from burning even when a bonfire is used. (If you use only a stupa sheet or bonfire mat, the heat will be transmitted to the bottom and the lawn will wither.)There is a kitchen. It was thoroughly cleaned. The toilet is a flush toilet. It was also thoroughly cleaned. There is a shower with water. It's located right behind the kitchen, so it's very difficult to find, and the footing to get there is also bad, so it's a little scary. This time, I went by motorcycle, but if I didn't park on the side of the parking lot where cars could be parked (not on the side of the shrine), people who came by car said to me, ``I can't turn my car!'' ”There are times when he gets angry. (Local folklore) Be careful.

It's a free camp on a large riverbed with no reservations required, and it's managed by Motoyama Town, so the kitchen and toilets were clean.[GOOD]①There are supermarkets, bathing facilities, gelato shops, restaurants, etc. within walking distance.②Due to the location, it was difficult for morning dew to form, and there were very few insects.③The toilet has a washlet (multi-purpose toilet only)④In the evening, staff from the tourism department were patrolling the area, which made me feel safe.[BAD]① Early in the morning, water is released from the dam upstream, and about 5 meters of the riverbed is swallowed by the river (disaster radio warnings are given)②No cars allowed. There is a long and steep slope, so it is very difficult to get there if you do not have a rear car from the parking lot in front of the camp.Motorcycles and bicycles can be unloaded from the flat area at the end of the descent, but be sure not to drive into the riverbed (there is a lot of fine sand and there are some gentle slopes, so you may get stuck).③There are cats and raccoon dogs, so please be sure to manage your garbage properly.【summary】There are many free campgrounds in Shikoku, but this one is a very good campground because it has bathing facilities and places where you can shop for various things, and it is not too unexplored. In addition, it is close to a supermarket where you can buy locally branded beef and rice terraces that are famous for the rice in the sky, so it was a wonderful town with both delicious food and attractive nature.95% recommended!

There are clean toilets and kitchens, and the baths are within walking distance, so the quality is quite high considering it's free, and it's reassuring to know that if you suddenly need something, you can go to the Montbell store to buy it.It may be a bit difficult to carry your luggage to get to the riverside site, but it may be a campsite that is easy for beginners.

A great place to stay overnight. Has everything you need a small kitchen with sink, water, clean toilets and a mini onsen right around the corner. You can get the access card at Montbell next door. They're just hard to find, they're downstairs behind the kitchen 😉. Everything is in a quiet location and there is also access to the river. Bathing and swimming in the river is not recommended.

A free campsite where you can feel the divine power of the land. The toilet also has a washlet. The kitchen is also very well maintained. There are Montbell directly managed stores right next to it, so it's a great environment to go to if you're in trouble.

2 nights from 2023.01.30I used it during my trip around Japan. It's helpful that you can use it without any reservations or reception. It is difficult to understand the range in which tents can be set up.If you include the riverbed, there is plenty of site space. However, signs at the site also warn that caution should be taken when water is released from the dam. It's located a little down the hill from the parking lot in the park, so you may need to find some way to avoid having to go back and forth multiple times. When I used it, there were a few solo campers and it was quiet, but since it's close to the river, you can always hear the sound of water flowing. There is a kitchen halfway up the hill and a toilet in the plaza, both of which were very clean and impressive.I can't believe it's a free campsite.I have confirmed that the multi-purpose toilet has a washlet. As for surrounding information, a supermarket, drug store, Montbell (merchandise, public bath, lodging), post office, convenience store (Family Mart has outlets), and hardware store are within walking distance.Although we are leaving the roadside station, there is also a coin shower (shampoo and body soap free) that can be used for 100 yen for 8 minutes at the roadside station Tosa Sameura.I really enjoyed the facilities as it was perfect as a base for my trip. You will want to be careful about manners so that you can use the campsite for a long time.
