I was hesitant to stay here after reading the reviews, but it turned out to be a normal business hotel that was a bit old. The water supply in the unit bath was also normal. This seems to be a reasonably priced service. Well, I think it must have been difficult for people who are concerned about how old it is.I was relieved that I could park my car in a nearby parking lot.

This hotel is poorly maintained and not a place I can recommend. We had a mix up with our original reservation at another hotel and it was the only place available. However, under no other circumstances would I have stayed here.It is not just old, but it is not properly run or maintained. We waited for over 10 minutes for service at the front desk and only got checked in because I called the hotel and the phone was forwarded. The woman came shortly after. The reception room was not appealing and the toilet area was dirty., there were vegetables and gas cans stored in the stairwell and an old boxspring outside our room. Interesting enough, we were informed.on check in to shower before the hot water was turned off at night to save money.😟However, once in the room, we found it quite adequate. The linens were clean and there were complimentary toiletries. It was comfortable and we slept well.

The problem is that the equipment is old, but the service is very good, so it's pretty good.

This is a rare inn with a super ⤴️⤴️ rating.I felt like I was back in the 1960s. It is unlikely that you will find an inn with a dial phone.

There are only three parking spaces in front of the hotel, and if you don't park as close to the building as possible, you'll end up on the road. As mentioned in other reviews, the wallpaper is peeling, the walls are thin, the remote control for the air conditioner is wired, and in any case, it feels like it has been here for a long time without any renovations. The people at the reception are friendly and nice. There are quite a few other ryokans in Minamiaizu that are not listed on hotel reservation sites, so we recommend checking the map and making reservations directly by phone.
