I used it because it was empty due to a sudden change of plans due to rain from a typhoon.The quality of the spring water is very good! Due to the lack of winter sports and financial difficulties, the guesthouses around here seem to be operating quietly under the breath of insects, which is a far cry from past posts, and I want to support them. There is no wifi in the self-catering building, but you can cook your favorite meals and have a good time, and the price is very reasonable. There is no convenience store nearby, so you can just buy your own ingredients.

I stay here for one night every year.It's an inexpensive place near Appi Kogen Ski Resort. What surprised me when I stayed was that the floor in the room was warm.It was something I couldn't imagine from the outside.The food is average and there is a hot spring just across the road which is very convenient.

It was reasonably priced.I usually stay at ANA hotels, but the Holiday Inn was fully booked and the ANA Crowne Plaza was over three times more expensive than last year and the year before, so I decided to stay here this time.Frontier hot springs across the street were also included in the accommodation fee, which was a great value. The carpet was heated so it was warm when I slept.Perhaps due to the weather forecast, all reservations had been canceled the day before, so we were the only ones staying there.It was convenient and close to Appi Kogen, 7 minutes by car.It was a comfortable stay for us and we would definitely stay there again if we had the chance.Thank you very much 😊

It was seriously the worst. It really feels like a training camp or boarding house. The carpet was full of stains, the rice cracker futon was shoved in the closet and I didn't know who had used it, and the cover was only attached to the mattress, so I had to put the comforter directly on it without a cover, so I didn't like it, so I slept without it, and it was late at night. It was so cold that I caught a cold.The only border between the room and the next room is a sliding door, which is fixed so that it cannot be opened, but the sound of people talking can still be heard through it. Despite being located at a high altitude in Hachimantai, there is no air conditioning inside the building. The window screens are full of cobwebs. They didn't even have tissue paper.Although the guest rooms are on the second floor, the toilets are on the first floor, and one of the two is a Japanese-style toilet. Naturally, there was no washlet, and pee was spilling all over the edge of the toilet.By the way, there is a hot water bowl in the communal water area, and you have to bring it to use in your room, but since it is left there, it is possible that an unspecified number of people are using it. Please note that there is no hot water at the water fountain.The most important thing is the hot springs, but they are only open from 8:30 to 21:00, so unless you stay for several nights, you won't have much time to bathe. The shower inside was surprisingly slow and I couldn't even wash my hair. I was so disappointed with the price of 9,500 yen per room for a room without meals.

Guests can use the day trip hot spring facility across the street, which is run by the same owner. The hot water is brown in color and warm as it is fed directly from the source. There is also an open-air bath, and the stars are beautiful. I think the food is plentiful and is a good value for the price.
