Stayed overnight on the walking pilgrimage in March 2022.Although it is called a hotel, it feels more like an old-fashioned inn.I think what's noteworthy about this inn is its unique atmosphere...The husband and the woman who appears to be his wife aren't friendly at all, but they're not unpleasant either. Furthermore, at the entrance, there are several warning signs on the old interior. These create a mysterious atmosphere unique to this inn.Other than the atmosphere, the facilities are old, but the food was delicious and I think it's a standard inn for pilgrims.There is a Japanese-style toilet in the room, and there is also a washlet toilet down the hallway.It seems to be used not only by pilgrims but also by business travelers.When making the reservation, the host told me that female pilgrims were not recommended, but due to the coronavirus, I was unable to stay at an inn near the temple, so I asked and managed to stay overnight.(The reason was because there were a lot of stairs.Actually, the stairs weren't that steep.)It's human nature to become dissatisfied if we stay only at inns with perfect hospitality, but the real pleasure of traveling is to stay at such inns every once in a while. This inn was the most memorable part of my 50-day pilgrimage. ...Maybe that woman was his wife after all...The mystery remained.Since I had to go to great lengths to stay here, I would normally give it 4 stars, but it seems like some people might be... so I'll give it 3 stars.

Poor value for money. The owner was unfriendly and unwelcoming, very business like. His wife (I think) completely ignored me and walked right past me.The room was old, poorly maintained and not even clean. …

The hotel itself is very dilapidated and has not been renovated. I have never been to such a bad hotel. There is no need for hotel wifi. Never recommend. The point is that the price was not as expected. …

The parking lot is located at the corner of the T-junction near Kochi Shinkin Bank. There is only space for about 4 to 8 cars. Reservations were required.At the hotel, the owner explained about the accommodation, but he gave off an aura of not wanting to talk to me.

Thank you for taking care of me this time at the pilgrimage inn.You can park your car there, and it's in a comfortable location, close to the sea.You can only stay overnight. Please stay with us with a feeling of gratitude.You can spend almost as much time as you like.

The inn has an old-fashioned appearance, but it was very good for me. There was also an old-fashioned bar nearby, and even though I had come from far away, it was a place that made me want to come back again.
