As mentioned in the reviews, there are only 2 or 3 sections of the free site where you can see the sunset, so if you really want to go there, I think it would be a good idea to go early and get a spot when check-in starts from 3pm (^○^) Near the restroom. You can see it from here (^ ^)There is a kitchen, a hot shower (I don't know how long it takes, but it says 100 yen), and a Japanese-Western style toilet. The Western style has a washlet and the toilet seat is warm too.Although there is a kitchen, water is essential as it cannot be used as drinking water. If you go up, there will be nothing, so please finish your shopping at the bottom (information will be provided when making a reservation by phone). You can also throw away garbage (separation required)Auto has power! You can enter by car! That place was full, but the free site allows you to drive close to the site when unloading (the road is narrow and overgrown with trees, so it might be a little difficult for new cars. I also had a scratch on my new car... 😢But it will be a scratch eventually, so don't worry about it lol)However, I thought it would be nice if they could take care of the branches a little more.I had a very comfortable time (^ ^)This may change someday, but at this time, the fee is 2,000 yen for one free space, 3,000 yen for auto, (an additional 100 yen for every few minutes when using the shower),No vending machineI had a relatively quiet time camping⛺️♪

I used it on a motorcycle trip in June 2024.*Note❗️ Water in the kitchen is not drinkable (water is required)・Campsite with no entry (2000 yen)Campsite that you can enter (3000 yen?)・Shower hot water (charged 300 yen?)・There is a toiletThe sunset is beautiful and the location is great. I felt the price was high for the facilities. There are no rider's houses around Cape Muroto, so if you want to save money on your trip, you'll probably want to camp overnight, so a good day is best.

I used it on a motorcycle on Friday, March 22, 2024.The weather is cloudy and rainy. I was the only customer. There is a campsite where you cannot enter (1000 yen) and a campsite where you can enter (2000 yen?).I made a phone reservation on the same day and took the one that was closed to passengers. The distance from the parking lot to the campsite is about 50 meters. The asphalt continues all the way to the site, so you can bring your car up there. The manager was there until about 3pm. (If you don't have a reservation, it will feel deserted)Also, around 6 a.m., a light truck came to patrol the area, but no one called out to me, and I just watched the situation from the parking lot on the hill. The sunset was beautiful and we had a relaxing time.▪︎About the ground•The pegs stick well on the lawn.•Deer droppings are falling all over the place.•No open flames allowed.▪︎Equipment• No drinking water. There is running water, but it doesn't seem to be drinkable, so you'll need to bring your own water.•Hot shower available.•Washing area available.•There is a garbage disposal area.•There is a place to dispose of ash.▪︎Supermarket used•Sunshine Muroto storeIt's about a 15 minute bike ride from the campsite. It takes about 15 minutes to go down the Muroto Skyline into Muroto city. There is also a gas station next door.▪︎Public bath used•Silesto MurotoIt's about a 15 minute bike ride from the campsite. After taking a bath, I headed to the campsite. There is a sauna.▪︎I saw the following wild animals:•Badger (around 18:00)•Rabbit (around 9pm)Other reviews said there would be deer, but I didn't see any. Deer droppings were falling everywhere.

The is situated deep in the nature on the mountains of Cape Muroto. The tent area is grass with location 23 and 1 with view on the Muroto West shore. Tent spot 18 and 17 recommended for shadow in the main part of the camp site. The service is good as it is possible to have garbage collection, many cutlery washing spots, how showers 5min for 100円 and clean toilets.Possible to fire but fire resistant mat is required to protect the grass. Checkout time is clement to whom might want to take extra rest on the leaving day as it is current set at 13:00.It is possible to reach quite close to the tent spot by car so unloading and loading is easy.

It is a campsite with a wonderful sunset. The sunset from the campsite can only be seen from a limited number of places, but there are places on the ocean side of the site where you can see the sunset beautifully. There are quite a lot of rabbits and deer, and they usually cross the tent during the night ( ̄▽ ̄;)There is a lot of deer droppings, but the grass is nice and it has a strong natural feel, so other than that, it's a very nice campsite.
