The door to the room is difficult to open and close, and the noise becomes loud and nuisance. I had trouble hearing the voices next door. Other than that, it was good, but it was a rainy day and it coincided with the Yosakoi Festival, which was disappointing.

I went on a trip to Kochi for the first time in a while. I was soothed by the hostess's thoughtfulness. I was able to relax and calm my body and mind.

I stayed for consecutive nights on January 15th and 16th.As the name suggests, it is right next to the Shimanto River, and just looking at the morning sun and the sparkling Shimanto River from my room was enough to make me feel like I was there. In front of the inn, there are stairs that lead down to the riverbank, and this time of year I was able to go down without any difficulty. Depending on the season, you may not be able to get off due to the growth of vegetation.Meals are Japanese. In one word, it was delicious (lol) and we had a meal in a warm atmosphere.Since it's a guesthouse (is that even fair to say?), the amenities are minimal. Wi-Fi works really well.Unfortunately, the toilet. Even if you don't have a washlet, I think a warm toilet seat is at least necessary considering the large number of facilities. The entire building was non-smoking.The food is delicious, you can enjoy the Shimanto-like scenery that I'm looking for, and I think it's perfect for those looking for peace and quiet. The stars were beautiful because there were no lights around. There were very few cars or pedestrians on the road in front of me.I think it's a great base for touring submerged bridges upstream and sightseeing boats, and I highly recommend it.*Please note that if you are driving from Nakamura to our inn...The navigation led me to a road that ran along the river from the Red Railway Bridge, but the road was only wide enough for one car to drive on, with no guardrails on the river side. When I checked with the people at the inn, it seems like there are occasional major incidents. I was lucky that I didn't run into an oncoming car, so I was safe, but I was pretty nervous. If you are going to our inn by car, I think it would be best to take a detour from route 441 via Sada Tunnel (toward Sada Subsidence Bridge).

Stayed with a friend on a Saturday at the end of October for motorcycle touring. We arrived early. It's fully booked tonight.Stay in a 9-tatami Japanese-style room with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The hair dryer is inside the TV stand. There are power outlets next to the TV by the window and on the bath side. There is no outlet in the unit bath, so I used the hair dryer in front of the mirror in the room. It's a shame that the toilet doesn't have a washlet. The refrigerator is shared, but it is sufficient. The outdoor bath is used like a family bath, and you call the front desk when you get out of the bath. There seemed to be a lot of people staying without meals, so we were the only ones having dinner. It seems that they are making an effort to produce locally for local consumption, and the menu includes ``wild sweetfish,'' ``Shimanto eel,'' ``Tosa beef grilled on a ceramic platter,'' and ``bonito tataki.''Well, it's delicious, isn't it? I had it with Tanrei's dry ``Shimanto Namazake, Fujimusume''.It was quiet and relaxing at night. There were other people at breakfast too. All the ingredients are delicious, such as the rice from Kochi, the crab miso soup, and the sausages. It was a feast.Thank you very much to the kind staff. It's far from Osaka, but I would like to stop by if I have a chance.
