In many ways, it's a great place to go.It seems to be part of Umaji Village, but this campsite is inside a dam in the Yanase area, which is further back from the Umaji area. It's well-equipped and provides a comfortable camp, but the history of this place makes you think about it even more. The area prospered in the forestry industry, and there was also a railroad track for timber. However, the area ended up being submerged under the dam, and a town was built on top of the dam, with only a few dozen people still living there. Or live. There is also an elementary school there, and I am amazed at the situation right in front of me, as if there were a magnificent house deep in the mountains. This evaluation includes the Yanase area.

This is a quiet campsite deep in the mountains. There is Umaji Onsen on the way to the campsite. The grass is also beautiful. There are also clean Western-style flush toilets. It just seems like a place that gets a lot of rain. The staff told us that even if the weather forecast says it's sunny, it might rain.

Used on a motorcycle at the end of October 2023. The cost is 2,700 yen, and firewood is 300 yen.It was a weekday and I was the only one there, but the manager was there until 5pm, the reception time. The campsite is divided into sections with only grassy areas, and the toilets and rice cooker are located on the side of the administration building, so it was more convenient to go to the front. The entire facility was very well maintained, and it was a nice campsite that was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. There's a small supermarket about 5 minutes north of here that's open until 6pm, but it's better to buy in the larger towns along the way.You can throw away garbage by purchasing a special bag for a fee!It was said that the only wild animals that might come near the area are rabbits, and that there are no cats that would raid the garbage. It was such a wonderful campsite in a hidden area that I didn't want to tell anyone about it.

I used it for the first time, but the staff was polite and helpful. It was ten nights(^^)It was a perfect campsite with good toilets and showers (*^^*)As long as you have enough food, there will be no problem. We started a bonfire, but we also have a fireproof version (control panel) available for rent (free of charge). On the way home, I encountered an antelope (^^) So cute~

This campground is located deep in the mountains, on a small peninsula that juts out into a dam. It's about 30km away from the national highway into the mountains, so it's quiet and the starry sky is beautiful. The facilities are new and well equipped. There is no free site, but there seems to be an auto site and a lodge. There is a shower, kitchen and toilet. There seems to be a hot spring nearby, but please note that it is only open until 7pm.There are no shops where you can buy it, and there are no sales or rentals at the reception, so you need to be careful not to forget to buy it.Also, take your trash home with you.It is shaped like an athletics track, and there are about 16 sites arranged in an orderly manner in the middle of the oval. The site has only a few trees and a power box, so there is nothing separating it from neighboring sites, which are separated by ropes. The site was probably 7 to 8 meters square.

I used it at day camp. However, I rented a plot of land, set up a simple tent, and mainly intended to fish at the fishing pond.Perhaps because I was fishing in the middle of the day, I could see the fish, but I couldn't catch any, and the rental rods didn't have reels, so the line easily got tangled. The rod was too long for my child, and the line easily got tangled, so I had a hard time using it properly. We didn't catch any fish, but we did catch a newt, and the kids had fun fishing for newts (lol)There weren't many people even on Saturdays and Sundays, and even in the middle of summer there was a nice breeze and I was able to spend a comfortable time.A crow snake passed in front of me and I was scared.
