I came to Golden Week from Tokyo and stayed for one night.I got the impression that it was a good old townhouse style inn. Regardless of how it looks from the front, the structure has a sense of depth, and I think people who like exploring will get a little excited. Each room is separated by a shoji screen and there are no keys, but the room was spacious and clean. The room was surrounded by shoji screens, an outside hallway, and glass windows, and when the shoji doors were opened, a lot of natural light came in, making it very comfortable. The bath and changing room were large, and although both were a bit old, they were clean and well-heated when it was cold, making them easy to use.(I think it would be a good idea to ask if it is unisex or if there is a time system, as there is only one bathroom/dressing room.) When we stayed there, there were no other guests staying. I didn't have any particular problems...)The restrooms are old and although they are kept clean, women may be a little concerned. The landlady is a very kind person. When we stayed there, there was no dinner available, but he told us about a delicious izakaya nearby, made a reservation for us, and even gave us directions to the restaurant.Considering the size of the inn, there weren't many guests, so I took the plunge and asked the proprietress about it. According to the proprietress, workers from a nearby cement factory stay here for long periods of time during the busy season, so depending on the time of the year, there may be a large number of overnight guests. If you are traveling around Shikoku, it is a good place to stay in a quiet place just before Kochi city, so please try staying there!

I used it on a bicycle trip around Shikoku. The building has a historical feel, especially the wooden hallways, gardens, and wooden glass doors that make it look like something out of Kyoto. It looked like a townhouse and was wonderful.Although it is old, it has been taken care of and has a clean feel. This is a recommended inn.
