Great traditional Japanese hotel. The dinner they served was fantastic, probably the best meal I’ve experienced on Shikoku. The people at the hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful. A wonderful place!

Super generous people! Really go above and beyond to take care of the henro. The food was really tasty and there was so much of it! The dishes kept on coming out, our table was full. After breakfast the owner even gave us lunch as osettai. It’s such great value, and in a beautiful location.

In a traditional Japanese-style room, although the bicycle is placed outdoors, it is very safe. The room is clean, the CP value for one stay and two meals is very high, the reception staff are very kind, and there is a public men's and women's soup.

I stayed overnight on the walking pilgrimage route via Otsuki. This is a recommended accommodation for walking pilgrims.-The amount of side dishes for dinner is extremely large. On top of that, if you finish the rice in the ohitsu, there's still more, so I'll ask for another helping.-I was treated to a rich mandarin orange juice recommended by my husband, saying it would relieve the fatigue of walking the pilgrimage.-There is no dryer, but there is a washing machine free of charge.-When I was having breakfast the next morning, I was offered a rice ball bento box for lunch.-If you like alcohol, there is a convenience store in front of the inn, and although there is no refrigerator in the room, you can store it in the refrigerator in the dining room. With this, it was 6,900 yen for one night and two meals in autumn 2023 (credit card accepted)I will repeat it next time I go to the Otsuki route.

I stayed here on my way from Cape Ashizuri to the Otsuki route on my walking pilgrimage. It was difficult to go sightseeing during the pilgrimage, but after checking into the inn, I was able to go to the submarine museum right in front of me, which made it a special day.I was worried because it was the cheapest accommodation I've ever stayed at on a walking pilgrimage, but the food was very delicious, both fish and meat, and I had homemade orange juice after dinner, coffee after breakfast, and rice balls for lunch. I feel sorry for the service that exceeded the price.Furthermore, as the room happened to be empty, we were given a room with a toilet and bath. The host was also a warm and kind person, and even though he could not speak English, he helped foreigners book their next accommodation. If I ever come here again, this is the place I would definitely stay.

Thank you to GW for your help. I was late in booking a hotel and finally found this hotel on Rakuten Travel. I got hit.The food was delicious as expected. Although the building is not new, it was clean and tidy and had a nice rustic feel. A refreshing citrus smell came from the entrance. There were a lot of stink bugs, but stink bugs like mandarin oranges and come to visit, so it can't be helped. (lol)When I look at other people's reviews, I get annoyed at people who write about things they like, but I was satisfied with it.I would like to thank the owner for providing a clean room and delicious food for an unprofitable amount.4 types of mandarin orange juice (1 bottle ¥1800) It's expensive for a moment. I thought so, but it wasn't expensive because it was diluted 3 times. I would like to buy it again next time. The small summer that was served as an extra was really delicious. thank you very much. (^-^)

Breakfast was especially good. The fluffy rice was served with a fried egg, miso soup, and pickles, and the rice was delicious. This is a hotel that I would like to use again.

B&B rather than a hotelBut I think you can tell by looking at the homepage. We took 3 families with 4 preschoolers, and they made sure to provide us with meals, bedding, baths, etc., and we had a comfortable stay from beginning to end.The baths accommodate about 4 to 5 people, and you can use the men's bath, women's bath, and family bath for free. The dining room had tables and tatami rooms to suit our needs, and the dinner was sumptuous and delicious, and we were able to eat well in the morning as well.Although some parts of the building look dirty due to its age, if you are looking for the quality of a hotel, I think it would be a good idea to consider other options, including the price.I think the stay was more than worth the price. For sightseeing, the Satoumi Aquarium and the Undersea Museum are right in front of the property, and a convenience store is also a 5-minute drive away.I will use it again.
