I used it on July 30, 2024 for my walking pilgrimage. .As I heard from other walking pilgrims, the service was perfect. It was a highly recommended accommodation that was considerate.

The owner is very kind and helpful. The room is traditional Japanese style, but is quite large and has all the amenities needed. There’s Wi-Fi, heating, a/c, tv, etc. The food is delicious. The inn is clean and comfortable. Although the walls are thin, it is very quiet.The building is older, but the quality of the service and cleanliness outweigh the age of the building.

This is an inn near Hirata Station on the Tosa Kuroshio Railway, close to the 39th temple. Laundry service was a courtesy in a clean room. There is a hostess who is full of hospitality. The food was also delicious.

Thank you for your help during the walking pilgrimage in July. It was a hot day and my body was exhausted, so I was able to get a good rest in a quiet and spacious room. Barley tea and laundry service were very helpful. The one closest to No. 39 and along the pilgrimage route is the one you should choose.

I stayed here while I was walking the ohenro and overall I didn't have a pleasant experience. I cannot recommend it specially if you are a foreigner in Japan. From the moment I made the reservation through a phone call I could sense that I wasn't being trusted. It all got worse when I got there and arrived at the same time with my Japanese friend. Only I was asked for a copy of my ID with the excuse that "lately police is being annoying", while my Japanese friend wasn't asked anything. After that, even though they had written in their web that the price for staying without meals was 3,360 yen they told me that they didn't update it and that now it was 4500 yen. Terrible experience.
