It's not that easy to get there by train, but once you do, the view alone is a reward! It's not difficult either. You can take a bus from the train station and then walk about 10 minutes. The house looks exactly like the pictures and is very lovingly designed. I got a free upgrade and had a beautiful room with a private shower, fridge, TV and sofa. There are also razors, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shampoo, towels, etc. in stock. There is even a pair of pajamas, which are very comfortable on the skin. You can order a cheap breakfast with it. This was very tasty. The owner also tried very hard to answer all my questions and helped me find a place where I could go river rafting. I can only recommend OKAMA Adventures! I only had one night, but I really enjoyed it! Thank you for the wonderful time and the warm hospitality!

I stayed here while visiting 88 temples in Shikoku.This was one of the least satisfying accommodations I've ever used.First of all, the walls were so thin that I could hear footsteps from upstairs and people talking next door.I think it depends on the manners of the guests, but when I stayed this time, the guests next to me were talking loudly until late at night, so I couldn't sleep.Also, since the toilet was shared, I was concerned about the noise when someone was using it.Even though I was supposed to be spending my time in my room, I couldn't calm down because I constantly felt the presence of other people.I think it can't be helped since it's made of wood, but I think it was a good learning experience for future stays at accommodation facilities.

I'm staying here now, but the two women in the room next door are making so much noise that I can't sleep ☺️There are some monkeys who can't read the instructions, so I think it's better to come and check on them once at night ☺️

Anyway, it was great and I have very good memories!The thing that impressed me the most was that the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap smelled so good that I could tell they put a lot of effort into them ♡It smells great from the moment you walk in, and the towels and bed are soft and fluffy!It's so beautiful and stylish, I really like it!I haven't seen a single insect!I want to stay here again when I come to Shimanto ♡

My husband and I stayed here on the last day of a surf trip!The inn smelled great, was stylish, and was very clean and very nice.You don't have to worry about insects, the prices are reasonable, you're surrounded by nature, and the nearby shopping street (Izakaya) is about a 10-minute walk away.I would definitely like to stay here next time I come to Shimanto!
