Not a bad place to stay. Don’t go here thinking it is a luxury resort and you will be fine. The room and mats we’re comfortable. The toilets and showers were clean and did the job. 😆 We are a family of four.

This accommodation can be booked either through Airbnb or their own website. As I booked this very late (1 week ahead) it was fully booked through Airbnb, I instead tried out the website which allowed me to book my wished days and promised pickup at the harbour. When arriving to the harbour it was only a coincidence that we was picked up and from my understanding they did not anticipate us coming. I wondered if the website even worked. The owner's English skills are limited but he always want to understand and help out.The accommodation was a very genuine experience. It facilitated more common spaces and cooking possibilities than said on the website but the overall hygiene did put me and my travel company off. The room was fine, very simple with a smell of moist and superthin walls. There was many Japanese families making their own dinner and the ambiance was nicely laid-back.The toilets where by far the worst thing - really dirty, extremely smelly and basic (the beach toilets located nearby was much cleaner which says alot). A big difference from all other super clean bathrooms of Japan. The location is perfect at the beach, but with the price of 13500 ¥/night (3- person bedroom) it was not worth it considering the lacking hygiene facilities. So, book something else earlier ahead and have a much more pleasant stay at Aharen Beach which is a great getaway.

I visited in mid-August, in the middle of summer. It was only for one night, but personally, I'm so busy with work that I don't really have a chance to take a break. However, this is the perfect place to take a break and forget about your daily hectic schedule. I visited last year as well, and it's a place I'd like to go to every year from now on, as it was a great vacation and the friendly and energetic staff treated me well. Anyway, the sea is beautiful. I have a personal watercraft license, so I rented one, and it was really great. I'd like to take my wife and children to experience things like banana boats and SAP, but since everyone in my family gets seasick except for me, I can't go on a boat. So I guess I have no choice but to come again with my male friends...

Thank you for your help for 3 days! The location is very close to the main beach, and the owner is very friendly and has a nice smile! The room was a good size and the air conditioner worked well! !Thank you very much for accepting us warmly even though we didn't have accommodation, and for listening to our various unreasonable needs! Some people were concerned about the noise, but it didn't bother me as I could just hear the happy laughter! !The BBQ was huge and I was very satisfied! The owner is a nice person, so if you have any trouble, you can talk to him about it and he'll solve it right away! This inn has just recently opened, so there may not be many reviews or posts on the website, but it's a great inn that's a little-known gem! !When I go to the island from now on, I will definitely go to Gran Blue! Everyone please come! !

Thank you for staying with us for 3 nights in July 2022.However, to be honest, if it was only the first night, I would give it a 2 star rating...①First reason.I asked for a shuttle to Aharen Port the night before and was given permission, but when I went on the day I went, the owner was playing with other customers at the beach. ``Even though I was offered a shuttle the day before, it was impossible for me to go, so I didn't go.'' (laughs)”If it doesn't work, I'd like you to let me know, and even if it's a remote island, maybe there's another way to say it...?②Second.This may be unavoidable, but the room was small and the noise from downstairs and next door was loud.On the first day, there were regular guests staying there, and they were drinking with the owner on the first floor (almost directly below the room we were staying in) until 10pm, so it was very noisy...The shared space can be noisy if other guests are drinking and talking. It might have been better if he was the type to join in the conversation, but it was quite tiring. The next day, I woke up from 7am talking loudly in the common area about the day's plans, which irritated me.This first night, I was in a room next to the stairs on the second floor, but I couldn't sleep well because I could hear other guests using the stairs, the door opening and closing in the next room, and the TV.Also, it's only 4 tatami mats, so it's small and not very comfortable. The second floor is very hot without air conditioning due to the roof.On the second and third nights, we had a different guest and the room was changed, so we didn't have any complaints (it was quiet).I think it depends on the room and the people staying on the same day, but I might not recommend it for people who are concerned about noise or who like quiet.I wouldn't have thought to write a review if it wasn't for the first day.The inn offers SUP and banana boat rides, so if you're in a group or with a family and want to try it out, the owner may be able to accommodate you.It is also available on the website, but please bring your own shampoo.

Good people!!!This time I only took a shower, but the staff at the shop were very nice and I would definitely use them again🥳There's also a shop where you can buy tea in a plastic bottle for 100 yen! A nearby vending machine costs 160 yen, so it's a great deal 🉐
