I was looking for a place to stay to go to Monet's garden, and finding this place was the best luck of the trip. It's been a month since I visited, but it's an unforgettable stay that still leaves a lasting impression on me.Sometimes the navigation shows a different location, so I checked the exterior photos to find it.After arriving, the lovely hostess showed us around. The dignified appearance of this landlady seems to reflect the state of the inn. Thanks to the wonderful renovation, you can stay comfortably even though it is an old private house.For dinner, we were introduced to a nearby izakaya, which seemed to be loved by the locals, and all the food was delicious.The town was quiet and there were no TVs, so I went to bed early and took a walk around the neighborhood early in the morning. As you walk and admire shrines, popular bakeries, old-fashioned general stores, and stone walls, you'll notice nods from the people you pass.This is an inn that we would like people who value old things to stay at with care.

An old private house where you can have a wonderful lodging experience. This Japanese house was built between the Meiji and Taisho periods, and was apparently used as a shipping wholesaler at the time. The room was clean, the toilet was new, and it was a comfortable stay. This is a valuable inn located in an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, so we recommend it when you come to Muroto!

An old Japanese-style rich man's house was renovated. I am very lucky to live in this ancient house. It has a great atmosphere and design. There is a simple kitchen, you can ask for an induction cooker. There is a cypress bathtub, and you can light candles while bathing, which is full of romantic atmosphere. Separate bathrooms for men and women. There are washing machines and dryers, which are also separated for men and women. The interior of the room is newly renovated, with Western-style and Japanese-style rooms. There are lighting equipment everywhere and audio equipment in the room. You can fall asleep to the echo of light music. There is a shared toilet about 10 meters out from the other door of the room. On cold winter nights, you have to leave the conservatory to go to the toilet. This is a characteristic of the old building and a challenge.Excellent value for money, recommended.

Such a beautiful place to stay, I enjoyed every bit of it. The building is ancient but really cosy, the baths are too but very relaxing, the atmosphere is just superb.

While retaining the atmosphere of an old folk house, the plumbing is neat and clean, and there are enough amenities for women to feel at home. Unless you're looking for luxury, there's nothing to complain about. This is a hotel that would be difficult to reserve if it were located in a larger tourist area.

A must visit when visiting Cape Muroto.The very elegant owner will provide you with warm hospitality.Although it is an old private house, the cleaning is incredibly thorough.
