Villa Suci by Di.Ubud

Unfortunately we suffered a theft but the place is nice and quiet

I am changing my review from 5 to 1 star due to an unpleasant event that my wife and I were only able to verify upon our return to Italy.We stayed in this Villa from 16/7/2024 to 20/7/2024.On the afternoon of 07/17 we realized that €500 was missing from the suitcaseFirst of all we were never shown the safe in the room and therefore we could not take advantage of this security, furthermore we questioned each other as we were not totally sure of the amount of money that was left in the suitcase, unfortunately we did have the security received upon returning to Italy by simply calculating the money left in the house. We will never accuse a structure lightly and this was our biggest mistake! After a long conversation with the owner we were told that they also have CCTV but obviously they don't take the rooms back for privacy reasons so in order to prove the possible theft they are worth zero!I regret leaving this review but I hope that by reading it other users will be more careful when staying in this villa.For us it was not just a holiday but our honeymoon!Regarding your response, I won't waste time in reiterating what we said via messages... I simply think that you are annoyed by being accused... but in years of travel it is the first time that this has happened to me, so I have always been be careful or I was just unlucky by you...The only certainty that remains is that they put their hands in my suitcase for the rest we can talk about safe deposit boxes not shown, papers signed by my wife who doesn't know English very well and which still relieve you of similar cases... .etc etcSo thanks for the obvious advice but either you think I'm on my first trip or you don't realize you have an internal problem...Best regards

The place location is good 15 min by scooter form Ubud center. The room wooden furniture need to be renewed and maintained
