I stayed with you for 2 nights on a solo trip in July 2024. Instead of an old woman, a young owner now runs the business.I think the most impressive thing about this inn was the food. They serve home-cooked meals that are very comforting. It was so delicious that I ended up eating 3 bowls of rice each time. Since there are no full-time fishermen on Agunijima Island, it is said that it is difficult to obtain fish caught on the island, but since the husband was fishing, he sometimes served us fresh fish from Agunijima. Is there anything you can't eat or don't like when checking in? He even asked me. Furthermore, at lunchtime, the cafeteria serves Okinawa soba. This was also very delicious.I also liked that it was easy to wash. There was a free washing machine, you could dry your clothes indoors, and you could dry them quickly with a fan. There was only one washing machine, but I didn't have to wait, probably because there weren't that many rooms.Furthermore, it was nice to be able to see the starry sky easily. Just by going to Awakuni Port, right in front of the inn, you can see a starry sky full of stars. I think you can see stars anywhere on a remote island, but personally, being able to see them on a paved surface that is close to your inn is a big plus. Perhaps because the sea breeze was blowing all the time, I didn't get bitten by any mosquitoes even after being outside for 2 hours.・One night and two meals 7,000 yen・Shared bath and toilet・No towels・Air conditioner available (free)・With electric fan・Washing machine available (free)・Dryer available (200 yen)・Can be dried indoors・There is also a drying area outside the room

I had the Okinawa soba (large). It is characterized by chewy soba noodles. This is my first time experiencing this chewy feeling.I had never tasted the same taste at a soba restaurant on Okinawa Island, so it was fresh and delicious.I wonder if I'll want to eat it next time I come to Awakuni (lol)
